'Your brother...'
The silence that had lasted for a long time, during which Danny had almost closed his eyes and fallen asleep, was suddenly broken when Mr. Jason spoke.
'Suga, he's an interesting kid. I mean, it's kind of funny because at first, I could guess you two were siblings, but seeing the way he interacts with you, it's like he's acting as your parent rather than your older brother.'
'That's probably because of the significant age gap between us.'
'Don't worry, there will be times when IHPS members have long breaks. Maybe then he can come visit you. You don't need to worry about his situation.'
'Long breaks... huh.'
It seemed that Mr. Jason noticed Danny's expression suddenly change when he mentioned —your brother. Danny's chest tightened, Suga's face flashed in his mind, and he let out a long sigh, resting his head against the car window, his eyes fixed on the unknown buildings after buildings.
