"Woah....you live here, it's bigger than the queen's palace", said Alain.
"Shut up ", said Lucy.
The guards looked questioningly at Lucy and the man that followed. They obviously knew Lucy but the man was a stranger, and they had strict orders not to let any stranger in.
"Ma'am..", one of the guards began.
"He's with me, and he'll be living here for sometime so don't bother ", said Lucy.
The guard opened the door, and the pair walked inside the house. The first person to greet them was Lia. She was sitting in the dining hall, doing her college project. But as soon as she saw she saw Lucy she came towards her. However, she was surprised to see the new arrival.
"My friend Alain....if mom agrees he will be staying here for a few days", said Lucy.
"Isn't he a very famous actor? I mean....I ve seen his shoots quite a lot of time in the magazines" , said Lia.
"Yes, I am.....and I am pretty handsome too ", said Alain.
"Don't mind he's a bit too narcissistic and overconfident of himself ", said Lucy.
"If we can deal with Hailey , then I'm sure we're not going to have too much trouble with him", said Lia, shrugging her shoulders.
"Speaking of the devil ", said Lucy, as Hailey came towards them from the stairs.
"Look...it's only been two days since she has arrived and she's already bringing men to the house ", mocked Hailey.
"You forgot that you were also ' brought ' into this house, do you ?", asked Lia.
"I don't think that anyone will mind....since you have work with him. It's your house just as much ", said Lia, turning to Lucy.
Mrs Smith entered the hall. She was sweaty faced and was obviously working in the kitchen, as she was wearing an apron.
"Yes?", she said.
"Uh...mom, this is my friend Alain and we er have some work to do together. If you don't mind , can he stay in the house for some days?", she asked, hesitantly.
"Why would I mind ? It's your work and your house. You can call anybody without asking me ", said Mrs Smith but then stopped and slowly," But I think that there is someone who may mind ".
"Who?", asked Lucy.
"Look behind you ", said Lia.
Lucy turned. Behind him stood a very confused and jealous Adrian who was looking time to time from Lucy and then to Alain. It was obvious that he got the wrong idea.
"What are you doing in my house 🏡?", asked Adrian , coldly turning to Alain.
Alain gulped. It was hard not to, seeing his freezing demaneur and a very dangerous figure standing in front of me.
"He's here on my invitation", said Lucy, coming in between them.
"This is my 🏠 house ", said Adrian.
"Ok, you two stop fighting. Alain is here only for a few days as he has some work with Lucy. You don't need to be so rude. Alain, come I will show you your room", said Mrs Smith.
"Come with me ", said Adrian, and without waiting for permission he took Lucy directly into his room. He locked the door 🚪 from inside.
"What are you doing? Why are you locking.... locked the door?", asked Lucy.
"Why would you bring Alain into my house?" he asked.
