Athena was enjoying the grand tour of the place. It looked so modernised. Everyone here was working with full concentration and care. She was amazed by the appearance and the cleanliness of the place.
"This place is a few shades more developed than our headquarters", she thought.
Unknowingly she went in a part of the building, which was strangely deserted and seemed to be a large storeroom. However it actually had a secret basement which led to the mafia king's secret den ( from where he use to control the mafia world 🌍). This place was well hidden but still just as a precaution, this place was actually a part of the hidden wing of the office, and Athena ( who was a fan of the detective stories and the. best friend of the mafia queen was well acquainted with these sort of pathways) wandered into the place.
Meanwhile.....
"Where is Mrs Lucy and Miss Athena?", asked Achilles, coming out of the office.
"Mrs Lucy is up in Mr Smith's cabin, and Miss Athena....I don't know ",the man said.
"What the heck?", he thought, as he started searching the whole place for the missing girl.
He searched all the rooms, the halls, checked out the bathroom area but still was unable to find her.
"Where the heck has she gone?", he thought 💭, and a fear crept on to him. No, she would not be in danger, he tried to console himself desperately. He was sweaty and tired from all the running, but he felt a strong clutch in his heart and fear 😨, ( which was a very new felling for him ).
"Hey, have you seen a girl anywhere?", he asked as he saw a lady ,"She's five foot four inches, slim, fair and mysy be in some buisness outfit".
"Yeah, she was going towards the tank ", she said and walked off.
"The hidden wing! Fuck !", he thought, as he hurried towards the place.
...
Athena was busy searching the place. She found a whole lot of files and garbage 🗑️ there. There were lot of spider webs🕸️and every few seconds, a spider would crop up in front of her, and she would brush it off carelessly.
There were also some very old yellow crinkly books 📚 which looked as if they had been not read for ages. The place was also adorned with some ugly paintings of women smeared with blood. On the top of that , the place was emitting a very miserable and gloomy aura , making it look almost haunted.
"What a waste of books", thought Athena, as she was an ardent fan of books.
She took a book, and started dusting it making her cough very badly and loudly. She spotted a very old, torn and dirty couch🛋️ in one corner of the room and started walking towards it. Just as she was about to move forward, she stepped on something oddly shaped and slimy. As she looked down, she saw a misty green coloured and long tailed....
"Aaaah", she screamed, and started running as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
She directly bumped into something hard and bold. She looked up to see Achilles, white faced and shocked. She did not even give him time, but hugged him very tightly as if he was going to disappear that very moment. Achilles hugged her back, and also checked her body for any kind of injuries.
"It's ok, I am here", he said patting the back of
her head softly.
Athena suddenly realised what she was doing, and broke the hug.
"I am sorry ", she said.
"What happened? Why did you scream so loudly ?", asked Achilles.
"It was a lizard 🦎. A green slimy, filthy lizard and I actually stepped on it", said Athena.
"You were screaming this loudly because of a lizard?", said Achilles, amused ,"I thought you had seen a ghost 👻 or something, you scared me off".
"Lizards are worse than ghosts", said Athena, and sighing, she added," I hate lizards🦎".
"Shall we go out of this place?", asked Achilles," before we encounter another slimy green monster".
"Yes", she said, her cheeks flushing red from embarassment.
As she turned to walk, Achilles eyes suddenly went on red strip on Athena's leg which was actually blood ( she had stepped on something sharp in the room ).
Achilles did not even give a warning ⚠️ to Athena, before bending and picking her up in his strong yet flexible arms.
"What are you doing?",asked Athena, shocked.
"Don't wonder off alone again", said Achilles
and then added ,"And if you ever feel afraid, you can call me or hug me without saying sorry".
