Adrian felt guilty. It was true that she was the one who was keen to keep the distance between them but even Adrian had done nothing to resolve the issue. He too tried to stay away from Lucy and irritated her at every chance he got. He could not expect her to behave nicely with him and act according to his wishes.
Achilles sat beside him. He looked at his handsome face and placed his hand at his back. He tried to comfort him, and told him that it's normal between couples and they would solve the dispute quickly (Adrian had told him what they had been fighting about).
Suddenly, his face started revolving. Adrian felt a deep pain in the back of his head and he fell on the floor, squirming in pain. Achilles, instead of helping him, quickly went to the door and closed it down.
Adrian was sitting on the floor, crumpled and was holding his head tightly with his hands to prevent it from bursting. He started shouting loudly, as if fifty swords had pierced his skin . His scream was dead and hollow, and the whole room started vibrating with his ear splitting sound. Achilles closed his ears and went to one corner, hiding himself from view. He made no efforts to go near Adrian, who was looking as if he was being tortured.
Suddenly, his face turned white and he stopped screaming. He fell onto the floor, now unconscious. His motionless body laid flat on the floor, and bore perfect resemblance to a corpse.
Achilles went over to the body. He placed his hand on his forehead which was very hot . He poured some cold water on his forehead. His body started to show signs that he was living. Before long, he sat up his face still white.
"Are you ok?", asked Achilles, as he poured some water for him to drink.
"I blacked out again", said Adrian , furiously taking a gulp of water.
"Yeah, but it was shorter than usual", said Achilles.
"This was not supposed to happen again. I have got to keep a control on myself. What will I do if this happens in front of my rivals?",asked Adrian.
"You are right. You've got to keep a control on your emotions, Adrian. You are having this attack after five month's. You know, that you can't afford to lose control like this", said Achilles .
"But I was taking classes....and I have been doing everything to keep myself calm", complained Adrian.
"But you are still letting emotions hold you up Adrian. You know that if you feel a strong emotion, you remember that ...that night and you black out", said Achilles.
"I am trying, Achilles..I am trying ", said Adrian
"You can't let Lucy or anyone else control you or find about your weakness. You know, that it is supposed to be a secret. If you keep feeling for Lucy like this and you keep losing control, you might risk Lucy finding about your secret.
"No, it won't happen again...I promise. I will not let that Lucy or any woman interfere in my life", said Adrian firmly, as he took another gulp of water.
