"What did I miss?" Came the annoying voice of Alexander. Isadora rolled her eyes at him before breaking from Roselyn's hug. For some odd reason unbeknownst to Isadora, Roselyn was avoiding Alexander's face, even when they were in the room where Zed was.
"Nothing much. Maybe a cup of tea," she said giving him that wicked smile but it didn't have the effect she desired, or maybe he pretended he didn't notice it. He walked across the room and poured himself a cup of tea.
"Delicious!" He praised. And looking her in the eye, "It reminds me of your days as my personal maid."
Isadora blushed when she remembered what he used to do to her. Roselyn, on the other hand, had her head lowered. She knew Alexander was throwing a tantrum and she was the target.
"I'll take my leave Your Majesty," she said pointing at the door.
