When Newton finally found Roselyn, she was hunched in a bench, silent stiffles escaping from her lips. She was crying! He could already guess what had happened. So she just wanted to see him yet he broke her heart once again. He could not blame her though.
He took soft but silent steps and sat beside her on the bench. She was yet to notice him. It must have been painful for her, he thought.
A soft touch on her shoulders was what brought her sanity back. She lifted her face to look at him through her watery eyes. She could make out a face of a worried handsome man, one who had stood by her side all the while.
