Miles, Shane, Brian, Kevin and Darcey were completely unaware of the minor commotion their group had caused back at the academy. The group didn't even realize how much attention they had drawn to themselves.
However, they were much more concerned about the serious dilemma they were currently experiencing. The group had been trekking through the dense forest for hours without any sign of a beast they could hunt.
While they were constantly receiving notifications on their respective bracelets, as the number of beasts killed by other groups were increasing and were rising in the ranks. This was becoming more tiresome and worrisome for both Miles and his teammates.
"Whoof!…..I don't think I can take this anymore. I need to stop to get some rest because there isn't anymore strength in my leg to take another step." Kevin whined. He was sweating profusely and struggling to catch his breath. Anyone would be able to see how exhausted he was.
