Chapter 6 - A gift from the girl

Tae-hyun thanks him, and the two men return to work after a few days of living with other people. Tae-hyun returns to his apartment after getting a message that the police have finished investigating the case.

Tae-hyun goes to his apartment and finds that nothing has changed. In fact, he has seen the site as untouched since the first time he saw it there.

Tae-hyun decides to start over. He cleans up and fixes the mess. Every day, he worked hard to save money to buy new things. He took on extra shifts at work and looked for other ways to make more money.

One day, Mr. Park comes to see Tae-hyun when he isn't expecting it. He gave him new clothes and food to help him get going again. Mr. Park smiled at Tae-hyun and said, "Thank you, Tae-hyun. You don't have to act this way toward me. I'm just here to look around."

His answer was, "It's okay Mr. Park. I'm glad someone visited me. Other than that, I don't have much, but I want to share what I do have."

Mr. Park nodded and said, "I'm sure that's hard for you."

Tae-hyun heaves a sigh and says, "It is, yes. But I try to keep a good attitude and keep my mind on my work. I just can't let something like this get to me."

Mr. Park gave Tae-hyun a smile and a pat on the shoulder. "Tae-hyun, that spirit. You are a strong young man. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask for help. I'm always here for you."

Tae-hyun smiled and said, "Thank you, Mr. Park. I'm really grateful."

It's 12 a.m., and Mr. Park must leave to catch the last bus. Before he leaves, Mr. Park tells Tae-hyun to come early tomorrow morning because someone from the company headquarters will be there.

The next day, Tae-hyun gets up early because he is looking forward to the visit from the company's main office. He quickly got ready and went to work, eager to make a good impression. When she arrives, she sees Mr. Park waiting for her. They walk into the factory together.

As they walk into the factory, Tae-hyun sees many people in suits, including a few high-level company officials. He knew this was an essential visit, and even though he was nervous, he was determined to do his best.

Like always, Tae-hyun works hard.

"Give that wrench to me!"

"Got it. What're you doing?"

"Trying to get this broken conveyor belt to work again. It's been holding things up all morning."

"Need help?"

"Yeah, that's great if you can hold this steady."

"Does not matter. I don't let go."

"Thank you. Okay, let's make this bolt tighter. One...two...three!"

"Ready! Let's see if it works by turning it on."

"Good thought. Okay, let's get going."

"It looks like we did it! Good job!"

"Thank you. Let's get back to work. There is still a lot to do before the day is over."

"Hey, be careful!" Tae-hyun screams and points to the rope that isn't tied.

When the workers looked up, they were shocked to see the rope swinging in a dangerous way above their heads. "Move!" Tae-hyun yelled and shoved through the crowd. He saw a young woman working nearby and standing just below the ropes.

He yelled, "Move!" and ran toward her.

The woman looked up, her eyes wide with fear, as she saw the rope approaching her. As the string hits the ground, Tae-hyun reaches out, grabs her, and pulls her to safety.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he looked at the woman to see if she was hurt.

"I guess so," she stuttered, still stunned.

"Good." Tae-hyun said, sighing in relief.

When the engine stopped making noise, the workers crowded to see how they were doing.

Tae-hyun is sweating a lot, and his heart is pounding fast from the adrenaline. He had just saved a girl from a dangerous situation and couldn't believe what had happened. The girl is shaking. She can't thank Tae-hyun enough for saving her life.

The doctors arrived quickly and started to figure out what was happening. They asked Tae-hyun and the girl questions to see if they were hurt and how they were doing. They were both taken to a safe place.

They cleaned cuts and bruises on the arms and legs. Tae-hyun sits quietly in a corner, watching the doctors and nurses care for the girl. She introduces herself as the company's CEO and thanks Tae-hyun for saving her daughter's life. Tae-hyun was stunned. He never thought he'd meet someone so important in this kind of place.

The CEO then says she wants to offer Tae-hyun a job at the company. She leaves Tae-hyun alone to think about his offer, and his daughter comes to thank him. She just left them there.

He said, "Thank you for saving me." "I wanted to take you out to dinner after work as a reward for your bravery."

When the woman makes an offer, it surprises Tae-hyun. He'd never been so nice to someone he'd just met before.

"No problem," Tae-hyun said.

The woman gave a friendly smile. "I'll be waiting for you after work," he said before he left the room. Tae-hyun finds a woman waiting for him outside the factory when he gets off work. He took her to a small restaurant by the side of the road, where they had a tasty dinner.

The owner welcomed them warmly and showed them to a table by the window. It was still raining outside, and the rain hitting the roof created a relaxing atmosphere. The girl placed an order for both of them, and the food came out quickly, steaming hot and smelling good. Tae-hyun was about to eat it immediately, savoring the rich flavors and spices. The girl smiled as she watched him eat, and it was clear that she enjoyed it.

They talked and got to know each other better while they ate. The girl tells Tae-hyun about her life and work, and Tae-hyun discusses some of his experiences. They had a lot of fun and talked for hours. The time went by quickly. The owner came by to check on them and refill their drinks. Added to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the place.

Walking toward the bus stop, the girl turned to Tae-hyun and said, "Thank you so much for last night. I loved getting to know more about you."

"Thank you for being kind," Tae-hyun said with a smile.

When they get to the bus stop, they say their goodbyes, and Tae-hyun watches as he drives away into the night. He felt good inside because he knew he'd made a new friend.

The relationship between Tae-hyun and the girl keeps getting better every day. Tae-hyun feels he has finally found someone who gets him and his problems.

They often discuss their hopes and dreams for the future, and Tae-hyun feels he has found a true friend.

One day, the girl takes Tae-hyun to a place he likes to go to escape his problems. It is a beautiful park with a small lake and a fountain. They sat on benches and talked for hours, laughing and telling stories about their childhoods.

The bond between Tae-hyun and the girl is getting stronger. After work, Tae-hyun comes home to find the girl waiting for him outside the factory gate. She gave him a small wrapped box and told him to open it when he got home. Tae-hyun feels thankful and happy as he takes the box from him.

While sitting in his small apartment that night, Tae-hyun ripped off the wrapping paper to reveal a beautiful pocket watch. Surprised and thankful, he couldn't stop thinking about the girl who had given it to him.

Mr. Park sees that Tae-hyun is wearing a pricey watch at work. He asks who looked because it would be hard for him to buy brand-name items like that with his salary. Tae-hyun looks at the thing on his wrist and says it was given to him by a girl.

Mr. Park turned around and said thoughtfully, "Tae-hyun, I hope you understand what it means to get a gift from that girl." "She comes from a mighty and wealthy family. If you date her, it could be bad for you and your workplace. Before you make a choice, give it some thought."

Tae-heart Hyun's sinks when he sees that the watch the girl gave him is now dirty and doesn't work. The other workers made fun of him, and he could hear their jokes in his ears.
