As Arthur went to train with Willam as well as Egris in hand to hand combat so that he could further improve his reaction speed as well as the time it takes him to move his body in certain directions, Yosel was busy on his own island which was covered in flames.
…
"Give it up Yosel, this battle has been going on for far too long. You know that you'll have to surrender at some point. Even if you defeat me, there will be more sent to defeat you," said a different man as opposed to the man that had first come in contact with Yosel. As for the first man that had confronted Yosel, he was on the ground with his head removed from his body.
"I know," Yosel gave back a simple reply.
"So why is it that you choose to fight? The more you resist, the worse your punishment. Even though you've killed so much, if you were to just bring that kid back and serve the council of sorcery once again, they might have let you off with a simple year in prison which on good behaviour might only be a single day. You know that they see you as a valuable asset so stop all of this foolishness and come back," said a man as he spoke to Yosel as if they were good friends.
Yosel himself had both his arms cut off from his body. Even though Arthur had used Lucifer to regenerate Yosel's hands, they had once again been forcibly removed through battle. Ever since the moment Arthur, Willam as well as Egris had left the island, Yosel had been in constant battles without any breaks. Over that time, he had endured countless injures which the man ones had been given to him by the first man he had fought.
"You know I can't do that. I'm tired of all of their commands Henry. You know I can't keep serving them like a dog. They give inconvenient orders and expect them to be executed the second they finish their sentences. They also never admit that they're wrong. I mean would you like to serve a bunch of self centred morons?" Yosel asked to which his opponent which was named Henry. Hearing this, Henry began to laugh his heart out.
"For the amount of money that you were making? I would become their dog through day and night and never sleep a day in my life again. You were making more money in a year than what some countries brought into their economy," said Henry to which Yosel had the perfect response or at least in his eyes.
"That's the problem. What's there to do after you get all of that money? Why bother working another day in your life? It doesn't matter how much more money you make because it won't change anything. You'll still be able to buy the things you want. Nothing will be out of your budget so there's no reason for you to keep collecting that money. It's just a pointless number that keeps going up. It's not like it can bring a sudden change to your life," said Yosel before continuing to speak.
"Even if I wanted to start some big projects like creating spacecraft to explore out of this planet, I don't have the time to do that since I'll be busy with my job. The day I accepted my first pay check, I accepted the fact that I would work until the day I died. That was the sacrifice that I made to get that money," Yosel explained to which Henry didn't seems to care since he wasn't bound to the same contract that Yosel was bound to. As such, he simply thought that Yosel was complaining too much for someone who makes enough money to end world hunger as well as many of the other terrible problems in this world.
"Even so Yosel, I'll be taking you on this battle. Seeing as you are now, you shouldn't be able to survive until the end of this battle. As such, I'll have your head and present it to the council so that they can give me your position," said Henry before bringing a single skinny blade forward which was a katana with a beautiful hilt that was black but had a pink floral design to it which was fitting as with every slice that Henry did, roses began to appear behind the blade. Even so, Yosel began to dodge the attacks that Henry was making however sooner or later, Yosel began to feel the effects of having lost so much blood. That had caused his heart to struggle to pump blood into his body which in turn caused sharp pain in his chest. As such, he stood still for a mere instant to catch his breath which Henry took advantage of and stabbed him in the chest.
"Well, I guess that brings us to the end of this battle. I guess it's time for you to say your final words. It's truly sad to see you like this but I have to do whatever I can to secure my dream position. Thank you for all your hard work. Even though this is harsh, I'll allow you to say your final words as my final act of sympathy," said Henry as he pulled out the blade from Yosel's chest.
"So tell me, what are you final words. The one they call the shadow? It's truly a befitting name if someone who's never seen unless he wants to be seen," said Henry to which Yosel began to smirk.
"Well, that's exactly right," said Yosel before a figure behind him kicked his head down to the ground and the two began to speak at the same time.
"I guess you got at least one thing right. It's true that I'll only be seen if I want people to see me. So Henry, how does it feel to have defeated a clone of mine," Yosel asked as the real Yosel was the one that kicked his clone's head to the ground before he began to laugh.
