"Tier 11 Spell: The Sky's Punishment"
Just as the principal brought an end to his life, a giant black orb of energy began to surround his body as he slowly began to condense until it was nothing but a small pearl of energy. In the very last moment, it was ready to close in on itself so that the ball of energy could cause a devastating explosion. Just as the principal had said, there would be a massive explosion and that was exactly what was going to take place. Just as the orb popped and the explosion began to unleash itself, the unexpected happened.
"Tier 21 Spell: Conqueror's Kingdom"
Using this spell, just as Yosel had done to Arthur, he enclosed the bomb into his spell so it couldn't cause so much destruction.
"Huh? What's happening?" Arthur asked as he had heard a familiar voice.
"I told you to not mess with the teachers or principal! Why won't you listen to what I tell you for once?!" Yosel yelled at Arthur as he enclosed the principal's explosion inside the box that he had tried to place Arthur's possessed body in. However it had worked this time as the person being enclosed in it was not a dimension breaking demon capable of casting tier 100 spells whenever he wanted.
However after Yosel was forced to lose yet another arm, he was too weak to even think and was forced to pass out.
"Damn it! I can't do anything right! And now because of that, he's lost another arm. Why couldn't I have been the one to lose my limbs?!" Arthur began to complain in self hatred.
"Wait, I remember, maybe this will work," said Arthur as he got an idea.
"Tier 8 Spell: Healing Garden"
Using his spell, Arthur tried to regenerate Yosel's limbs by using one of his spells. However, it did not work at all. Even so, he didn't want to give up so he tried and tried until he couldn't cast another spell which was when the demon inside him took a deep sigh and told him something.
"You can't heal something that's been sacrificed. Once something has been sacrificed, it is as if it had never existed from the start. As such, the magical universe believes that Yosel was born with no arms," the demon explained.
Hearing this, Arthur began to grit his teeth in agony as he was useless. Nothing he did would bring Yosel's arms back and it was all his fault. If he simply ran when he saw the principal like he was instructed, none of what was happening would take place.
"Wait, maybe I can help you out," said the demon inside Arthur, which seemed to have piqued Arthur's interest.
"What do you mean you can help me out? Can you elaborate on that?" Arthur asked to which the demon began to smirk.
"If I can completely heal his body and bring back his arms, I want total control over your body for one entire day when I choose," said the demon to which Arthur saw no problem with that as he didn't think a person or a demon could not accomplish a lot in just a day.
"Sure, that's fine by me, just heal him already," said Arthur without thinking much.
"Deal," said the demon as he began to wrap his demon skin on Arthur's right hand before placing it on Yosel's chest.
…
Instantly Yosel's arms grew back from nothingness and the demon retracted his demon skin and stayed quiet.
"No way, he actually kept his promise," said Arthur as tears began to flow out of his eyes. Even if Yosel had tried to kill him, he was the first person that showed even the slightest bit of kindness towards Arthur and that meant the entire world to him. Plus, it wasn't like everyone else didn't want him dead either. Being hunted and people wanting him to be dead wasn't a new thing to Arthur. Although it was a horrible thing to go through for anyone, it was the norm for Arthur.
"Why are you crying?" Yosel asked if he used his arms to get up without even realising as it was his natural instinct.
"Come on, there's no need to be so sad, all I lost was just my arm-" Yosel began to speak before he finally realised what had happened.
"MY ARM!" Yosel yelled out in pure joy before hugging himself using them as he had missed them so much. Life with just one arm was hell already but a life with no arms was going to be unbearable. And with now having gotten them back, he promised himself to never sacrifice either of them ever again.
"Hey Arthur, so how exactly did you manage to get my arms back? I didn't think that was even possible," said Yosel in pure confusion.
"Well, it wasn't technically me who brought them back. It was actually the demon inside me that agreed to bring them back," said Arthur which made Yosel's heart sink.
"Did he ask you to make some sort of deal with him?" Yosel asked, hoping that Arthur would say no and they could just move on with their day; however, his fears were coming into fruition.
"Yes, in fact he did, all he asked for was just a single day outside where he could have control over my body," Arthur replied without seeing any problem with his answer.
Yosel began to instantly break down as he heard the last thing that he was hoping to hear from Arthur.
"You do realise that you just allowed a demon that can destroy this entire world in a matter of 5 minutes the ability to roam around our world for a whole day right? If a person were to give him the wrong look, he could easily get angry and simply decide to wipe the entire planet out of existence," Yosel explained.
"But your arms-" said Arthur as he tried to explain why he had done it.
"WHO CARES ABOUT MY ARMS IF WE ARE ALL JUST GOING TO DIE!" Yosel yelled at Arthur while continuing to have a mental breakdown as he knew that no one would be capable of taking on the demon head on.
"Wait, no, if anyone can take him on, it's you," said Yosel as he looked into Arthur with a light of hope in his eyes.
