Ryuma and Miriam were dancing together but Ryuma who did not have any experience dancing before keeps stepping on her feet.
"Sorry," said Ryuma.
"It's fine now just followed my feet you get it," said Miriam. But then they hear screaming in the room. They look and they see black dark slime creatures breaking through the windows of the room.
"Looks like this is going to be short," said Ryuma. "Go and get to safety I will take care of them."
"Alright be careful Ryuma," said Miriam leaving The Ballroom with other students. Ryuma summons his weapon. Ryuma starts slashing the slimes down with his sword.
"Ryuma Tendo." said Someone behind Ryuma. Ryuma turns and sees Masao.
"It is you. So, this the work of The Dark," said Ryuma.
"Yes, The King of The Dark sees you as a true threat since you defeated my master Ryuken," said Masao.
"Well, my father is in a better place and free from the Dark," said Ryuma.
"Fool you have no idea what the Dark true power is. If there is light then there always will be darkness," said Masao.
"Yeah, but how come the darkness can't befriend the light," said Ryuma. Masao seems confused by that. "Why must we be different light and darkness cannot live without each other you said that yourself. Why can't we coexist?" he asked.
"All I know is you are my enemy. I do not care if you were my master's son. It ends here for you Ryuma Tendo." said Masao.
"I will defeat you and defeat The Dark," said Ryuma. They both get ready to strike each other as the room gets covered with dark slimes. Masao sees Ryuken's Ring on Ryuma's left ring finger.
"Jigoku No Ryujin?... I see Master must give you that ring when he passed." said Masao.
"You said he was your master then why do you fight with the Dark? He was in agony turning his back on his friends and leaving his family. Sometimes I wished I never became a Wizard. Because now I know the truth about what happened to him it's why I could never forgive The Dark," said Ryuma.
"It's because the light is not always on the right side," said Masao.
"Yeah, but selling your soul to a tyrant is not either," said Ryuma going for a slash with his weapon. Masao blocks and parries him off. They glare at each other and Ryuma starts to gather golden-like energy.
"So, this the potential you saw my master." thinks Masao. "Then I shall engulf this light in the darkness." Masao starts to gather the dark around his spear as they get ready to clash again. Both Ryuma and Masao glared at each other one more time before they lunge at each other but before that happens a portal opens in between them.
"WHAT THE HELL!?" yelled Ryuma as he and Masao get sucked into the portal as Kenzo and Yuna arrive.
"RYUMA!" yelled Kenzo trying to chase him through the portal but it closed before he can enter it.
"We seemed to be too late," said Yuna.
"Damn it," said Kenzo.
