Ryuma in school uniform was in his classroom doing catch-up work since he missed most of his at the beginning of the term because he was mourning his father.
"I should be done now," said Ryuma. He gets up from his desk and heads out. He got outside and it was snowing out now that it was winter now.
"Should have worn my jacket I got from here," said Ryuma. He then heads for his dorm so he can warm up. He covers up with a blanket in his room.
"It's almost time for winter break maybe I sleep in this one I was busy training to fight Father," said Ryuma. He then looks at the shelf above his desk and sees his father's ring he got before he passed on. He picks it up and looks at it. He then stares into it.
"What next in my life that will impact me?" he asked himself. He then hears a knock on his door.
"Be a minute," said Ryuma. He then puts it on his left ring finger which fits perfectly. He heads for the door and opens it and sees Miriam.
"What up? I didn't know I was tutoring today?" asked Ryuma.
"Actually, I was wondering if I could ask you something?" asked Miriam her face all red in the cheeks.
"You okay you seem like you have a fever is that normal for snow women?" asked Ryuma.
"Ah no. But I was wondering if you were going to the end-of-the-year dance?" asked Miriam nervously.
"Not really I was probably getting ready to go back to Yokohama," said Ryuma.
"Oh, so would you like to go with me then?" asked Miriam quickly in excitement learning no one asked him.
"Well sure I don't really have much to pack," said Ryuma. "But I don't own any formal clothing."
"Don't worry I can help with that," said Miriam.
"Alright, that's still a bit just let me know when that pops up?" asked Ryuma.
"Sure, the thing I'll let you know ahead of time," said Miriam.
"Well, I'll see you later I might rest before dinner," said Ryuma.
"Alright," said Miriam who skips down the hallway because she was happy, he accepted.
"Man, what a weird girl she always does that," said Ryuma before he closes his door and took a nap.
A few days later Ryuma was in fencing class in a black tracksuit swinging a wooden sword. He then senses something coming from behind him. He backflips over his attacker and sees Kenzo with a wooden sword.
"Wow you saw that?" asked Kenzo.
"Yeah," said Ryuma. Kenzo then attacks him again but Ryuma defends himself by blocking and clashing with him.
"So, I hear you're going to the dance with Yuna's little sister?" asked Kenzo.
"We are just friends and going as friends," said Ryuma. "I already have enough getting death glares from Miss Tomoe."
"So, kid we haven't talked much since we left Tokyo," said Kenzo. Kenzo then sees Ryuken's ring on his left ring finger.
"Just been getting through school," said Ryuma who parries him off.
"When did you get Jigoku no Ryujin?" asked Kenzo.
"What?" questioned Ryuma.
"That ring it's Ryuken's Weapon," said Kenzo.
"I didn't know he gave it to me before he passed," said Ryuma.
"I see must be a parting gift I guess but it's just a ring in your hands," said Kenzo.
"It doesn't matter to me I have my weapon Tenryujin," said Ryuma.
I see two opposites heaven and hell." thinks Kenzo.
"Something wrong?" asked Ryuma.
"Nah but the headmaster wants you to attend a big meeting in a day we the Arch-Wizards are meeting with Grandmaster Oda," said Kenzo.
"What there more?" asked Ryuma.
"Yeah, every major city in Japan. there are two other Wizards' schools in Tokyo and in Sapporo the ten of us. Kisuke, Giichi, Yuna, and I There are only six you have not to meet." said Kenzo.
"Really man I Didn't know," said Ryuma.
"Yeah, some of them are some strange characters." said Kenzo.
"I bet after meeting you make think not all Arch-Wizards are sane," said Ryuma.
"Yeah, we are all crazy in a way," said Kenzo.
