Margaret looked around the room that had fallen into deafening silence, and she looked around the room, making sure to avoid the men's eyes.
What was she going to do? Was she going to deny it? Or was she going to stand up to her mistake? Margaret knew whatever she was going to determine if she was going to leave the place alive.
