Everyone gasped at what the man just said no one was expecting that kind of twist but the most livid was Anastasia. "What did you mean you poisoned me?" Anastasia screams and Douglas smirkee seeing the lady's unladylike actions.
He knew his plan might not pull through so that was the reason why he decided to have a backup plan and Anastasia was his back up plan.
If his plan ever goes astray then he knew what to do so he would not take the fall. Anastasia was the perfect one for the hit taking, they were already accomplices so he doesn't see it as a matter that needed her consent. He was that crazy.
