The policeman looked at Sandra bewildered not understanding what she meant and he was even more surprised when she saw she was not a bit fazed like she was sure of what she was saying but was he meant to believe that?
She came to report a case of 10 years and not just any case, a hit-and-run case that always has little to no evidence and not to talk of the time that has passed on it.
The man was speechless and he does not know if he should just dismiss her because he knows there was no case if she could not report it ten years ago there was no point now but he still decided to listen.
"So, this case you came to report did you witness it?" The officer asked and Sandra nodded her head. "If you witnessed it why are you reporting now and not back then?" The man asked the obvious question that was also lingering in her mind.
Why? Why did she not report the case back then when she could? Why does she act ignorant about it and make it come to this?
