Becky looked at Caleb's face which looked like has undergone some stitches from the way it looked rough and he looked so thin, differing from the handsome Caleb that was in Becky's memory.
Becky's brain immediately panicked seeing Caleb and since their past encounter was not good her brain reflexively wanted to close the door but Caleb blocked and Becky got scared.
"I know you hate me Becky but can you give me a chance I just want to apologize," Caleb says and Becky was moved by his words since he was looking sincere.
Caleb has been the man she gives her youth to, he knew her better than she knew herself. He always tries to please her until that terrible change sets in and her sweet Caleb is gone.
She knew the Caleb she was looking at might not be the image of the handsome Caleb she remembers but she knew the look in his eyes was the look of the sincere Caleb she knew so without thinking much she opened the door for him to step in.
