Earlier, when Lania said they would enjoy him to death, Brunos thought it was a figure of speech. But now... now that it sounded real, Brunos felt the temperature in the room dropping. For some reason, darkness enveloped his heart as if the Crimson Crystals weren't lighting the room anymore.
How else was he supposed to feel after such a realization? If they continued like that, draining heat out of him and consuming his Lust Leaves to refill his libido, he was as sure as dead.
Why wasn't Valeria coming to his rescue? Didn't Morrin tell her?
Wait!
Was Morrin still thinking that he was still chasing Lania? Of course only a few hours had passed. But they should have suspected something and went after him.
'Geez... I can't believe this is happening.'
When Brunos arrived into the Realms, he was depending on Valeria to protect him. But, after obtaining Super Speed ability, he had thought he no longer needed her protection.
'I was wrong! I should get stronger soon.'
On the other hand, Peony wasn't giving a damn to what Brunos was feeling. She was busy draining heat out of him.
'I cannot die like this! No! I can't!'
Luckily, something saved him from Peony's inhuman touches and strokes. It was a click of the door, then heavy footsteps.
Brunos slowly opened his eyes to look at who it was. It was Fellene.
"Ha ha!" His laughter echoed around that big room, filled with disappointment and other emotions that Brunos couldn't quite explain. Some emotions like disdain and a bit jealous.
"Is that what you call torture?"
Startled, Peony stopped half way and stared at Brunos. Despite the bulge inside her cheek that threatened to tear her flesh apart, she still wore her seductive smile though her face was glistening with semen and confusion.
Lania was the one to answer Fellene.
"Uh... yes! We're torturing him."
Fellene looked at her disgusted.
"Really?"
Lania nodded her head.
"Then what's Peony doing? Aren't you enough?"
Hearing her name mentioned, Peony might have suspected that they were going to stop her. Thus, she desperately continued pumping with devastating intensity.
At the sudden attack, Brunos groaned and tried to catch his breath so he could try to ignore the pleasures filling his body. He had found that ignoring them delays his explosion. But he was too late because, Peony's sudden strokes drove him to a second orgasm.
'Damn! Damn!'
'How fast? This is so disgusting! I don't like!'
Knowing what was going to happen, he closed his eyes and listened to the system.
*Ding!
[You're running out of heat. 100 Lust Leaves used to increase your libido.]
[Your body grows stronger.]
[Your beauty increases.]
[Your lifespan reduces.]
Seeing the second notification as exactly as the first one, his face wrinkled. Who would not be confused. Though Lilyon had told him how things in the realms worked, Brunos still had many questions.
First, if ones lifespan would reduce after reaching ecstasy, why were these succubi dying to make love with him? Weren't they affected in any way?
Second, why would...
Fellene's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Stop right now!"
Seeing that Peony wasn't planning to leave Brunos's cock that was hardening again without doing anything to it, Fellene marched toward her and pulled her off the ground.
"I said, stop!"
He then gave Brunos an amused look before turning to Lania.
"Lania, keep an eye on him," he said. "There's something I'm going to experiment with Peony. Don't try anything stupid before I'm back. Understood?"
Lania opened her mouth to protest but Fellene cut her off and stomped out of the room dragging Peony with him.

[Kill a Pergus Mission.]
[11 hours gone. Remaining duration: 1 day. 7 hours. 36 minutes.]
As if being tied on a pole by some enchanted ropes wasn't enough, the system brought its invisible strings to squeeze endurance out of Brunos's heart.
If he remembered correct, they were 18 hours in the morning. Now, 11 of them had passed. Thus, meaning it was approaching evening if not dark already.
The luxurious room deep inside the cave, now serving as his prison, had no ventilations let alone windows to show him how the outside world looked like. Brunos could not lay his eyes on the opening to know if it was already dark or if there was still some light.
If he could not get out, how was he supposed to kill a Pergus then?
Before, he had been ignoring the fact that it was a day and some hours. Thus, assuming he had only one night left when actually there were two nights. For tonight, he just had to wait for the Night Quest.
'Don't be stupid! How are you going to complete a quest while tied up?'
Though he hoped the night would maybe increase his duration for Kill a Pergus mission, he knew there would be no way to complete it. He only had to sleep, tied on a pole like some kind of a criminal.
'At least I have tomorrow.'
At the time, that's the only thing that was giving him hope. As someone who had been an author his entire previous life, he knew better not to loose hope. Even a second was enough to change his current situation. Of he had the entire tomorrow maybe he would be able to escape.
What if he did escape?
Would he be able to kill such a deadly monster?
In the morning, he was full of confidence that a Pergus would not be much of a threat. First, he had 10 days to go. Second, Lilyon and Eleanor were on his side, not to mention the Petite and her serpent.
Now, he had none of those. No time, no back up.
'I'm doomed!'
To make matters worse, Lania had told him what a terrible creature a Pergus was; he wasn't sure if he would even wound it let alone killing it.
You heard it right. Lania had been chatting with him ever since Fellene stomped out of the room enraged. Not just a simple chat. Apart from her mouth, her body was busy doing something else to Brunos.
To avoid premature explosion, Brunos had engaged her in a conversation so his mind wouldn't be weakened by the pleasures.
He had asked her about her fights with a Pergus, it's weaknesses and strengths.
Her answer made Brunos eyes pop out in fear and disbelief.
"It takes 100 experienced hunters to kill a Pergus," she had answered him. As she spoke, his treasure bird was surrounded by two soft walls of her juicy melons, the semen from previous explosion making the push-pull easy.
"It doesn't mean that some people can't kill the creature alone," she had continued. "But it's a suicide mission. Only Fellene and Valeria are known to have done so."
Enduring the sensations, Brunos gritted his teeth and asked, "What's so special about it? The size or..."
"No! It's not the size."
Brunos raised an eyebrow.
"Don't get me wrong! A pergus is huge and tall, almost two times your height. But it's other features are the deadly ones. First, the poisons arrows then the hard skin."
Speaking of the poison, Lilyon's wound became vivid in his mind.
"Do you use the same arrows?"
Lania pulled her juicy melons away and licked the treasure bird for some second before answering.
"Of course no! The Pergus arrows are larger than Fellene's spear. All we use from them is their poison."
Knowing that the pergus had the same poison as the one that had weakened Lilyon, Brunos shuddered.
'Let's say I escape! Do I have a chance to kill such a monster?'
To shake of despair from his mind, he asked another question so he could know how a monster could use a bow.
Lania laughed at him as if he had asked something funny.
"They don't use bows. There's a tube on there's a bone that protrudes from their should and form a horn. When they are enraged, it shoots from their body like an arrow."
Now it made sense. Come to think of it, when he met a pergus, he had saw some protrusion on both its shoulders.
Wait! The one he saw had two protrusions on both shoulders, making it a sum of four.
As if sensing his worries, Lania added.
"Like other creatures, Pergi Creatures have weaklings among themselves and abominations. The weaklings have two protrusions one on each shoulder and they can only shoot one at time. Stronger ones have two on each shoulder and they can shoot only two arrows at time, one from each shoulder, then shoot another round as the first protrusions recover themselves. Simply, the can shoot none stop. The abominations are like the stronger ones, the difference being their size and a deadly protrusion on their forehead."
Brunos felt like laughing. Not because he was happy, but because of his dire situation. All he wanted was to escape so he could go kill a pergus. How ridiculous!
Wasn't it death itself?
After their conversation about this creatures one of the archers came to tell Lania that Fellene wanted her. That's when they tied him to a pole and left him alone the entire day.
What they were doing, he didn't know but he could guess. They were preparing to attack the Crimson Castle which made sense. A war with Valeria wasn't something yo prepare in minutes. That's why they seemed to forget his existence.
During the day, he had tried had to rescue himself but to no avail. Now, he was waiting for a night quest to come. A night quest he didn't have a way to complete.
The system didn't make him wait for so long.
*Ding!
[Night Quest: Make love with whoever you want until she squirts.]
[Penalty: The duration for Kill a Pergus mission will be reduced by 10 days.]
... Simply, if he didn't complete the quest, it meant death.
'Damn it!'
