As Lania cut through the air between her and the cliff, her illusions disappeared one by one. Unfortunately, to Brunos, it was of no use. If he tried getting near her, she would quickly summon them back anyway. That was no opportunity at all.
'What am I going to do?'
He could count half a kilometer between him and Lania. It was quite an interval. For that, he interntained the idea of running in the opposite direction to escape her. However, he didn't know how huge was the forest. Would he risk getting tired over that very dangerous forest?
Since he didn't want to risk losing way back to the Crimson Castle, he obeyed Lania's order.
'Just play along. When you enter the cave and get closer to her, surprise her with your one blow kill and run away.'
Surprisingly, when he flew toward her, she flew further away from him and pointed at one of the holes.
"Enter that one," she instructed maintaining the interval between them. "I'll come after you a few meters behind."
'She's intelligent.'
Brunos wasn't surprised by her intelligence thou. She was probably over 400 years old which gave her enough experience in the game of life. A game that only those who are wise, cunning and brave are able to win.
'Don't give up!' Brunos kept telling himself. He felt like giving up on his idea to search for a way out but he knew better not to put down his guard. However intelligent Lania could be, mistakes were of anyone.
'Wait for the right time.'
The flowers around the entrance were good looking. No wonder their name sounded sexy. If he remembered correct, Lania had called those flowers peony. Brunos had never heard of them before, but he knew how bad he was with those things. Misery was his friend not flowers.
As he flew through those maroon balls, at least that's how he could describe them, his nose flared. It was satisfied. Despite resembling rose flowers at some extent, their fragrance was sweet and strong. All he could do was flare his nose so his nostrils could receive that sweet scent in big amount.
Not long after, he set his feet on the ground and walked deeper into the darkness feeling rocky floor beneath his black boots.
Soon, he reached an illuminated area where he could see cross paths in front of him.
'Turn left!'
He obeyed Lania's instruction.
'Turn right!'
For the next couple of minutes, Lania's voice was only about left and right, and in that labyrinth, Brunos tried to imprint the path in his memory. It would be a pity to loose way out after getting a chance to fight that demoness.
As Brunos was asking himself when they would reach their destination, Lania, still keeping a long interval between them, shouted another instruction.
'Left!'
"There's no passage at left," Brunos informed her, still in awe.
The fact that those guys could carve something like that, proved their intelligence and life experience. It had surely took them many years to dig such a cave. No wonder no one knew where they lived.
Wait! This reminded him one of the stories where Lilyard helped him to brainstorm details of its setting. She advised him to set it in a world where powerful members of the society were fond of caves.
They would dig them and try to make them huge with complicated paths as a way to show their powers and wealth.
Brunos felt like connecting that story to the Succubi Realms. Since his arrival, he hadn't seen any settlement. They had been telling him about the Crimson Castle only. But caves, he had seen more than one.
Did Lilyard copy that from there?
Before he could come to a conclusion, Lania's question interrupted his thoughts.
"Don't you see a crystal on that wall?"
Brunos inspected the wall closely. A smooth stone, shaped like a big diamond was emanating its esthetic green light.
"I see it," he replied.
"Place your hand on it."
As instructed, Brunos raised his hand and placed it on that crystal. Its green light illuminated the palm of his hand and wrapped it in a covet of green light.
"If it's done opening, enter so I can come."
At that moment, Brunos heard clicking sounds inside the rocks on the right side, too terrifying as if something was about to shoot at him. Startled, he stepped back dragging his hand with him.
The sounds faded away, replaced by an eerie silence.
"It's not opening."
"Is your hand still placed on it?"
"No!"
"Lay it on the crystal again!"
"Is there no danger?"
"It's safe."
"OK!"
"Keep placing on it until the door opens half way. That's when retriving your hand would not change anything."
Lania's words clicked something into Brunos's mind.
'Why not turn around and wait for her by the corner?'
'Place your hand there, wait until it's mid-way, then go wait for her by the corner. The sound of opening door would provide proof that you're still in front of it.'
'That's a good idea, right?'
The green light from the crystal envoleped his hand for the second time, and as he waited for the cave to open, his I'm lucky smile illuminated his face once more. He could see no flaw in his plan.
The clicking sounds again, a rumble inside the rocks in the left and then the door started sliding.
Brunos kept his observant eye on the door, preparing himself for the task ahead.
'It's your only chance. Don't put it to waste. You can do it. You can do it.'
As soon as the door reached mid-way, Brunos turned around and tiptoed toward the corner. Steading his breath, he stood there with look of anticipation on his face.
He placed his pointy ear on the wall so he could hear lania's footsteps but there was none. He kept waiting and many more seconds passed without any movement.
'Why is she not coming?'
As if to answer his question, the rumbling sound stopped. It was followed by a loud bang to indicate that the door had fully opened. That's when Lania's voice came.
"Brunos?" she called. If he answered her right away, she would know where he was.
'Fuck! Why is she so intelligent?'
Left with no choice, Brunos ran back to the entrance and asked, "What?"
"Have you successfully opened the door?"
"I can see inside now," he lied. For the door was open, he could see inside. But that was not his concern. He gaze was still fixed at the corner. All he needed was to convince her that he was by the door and run back to his lurking lair.
"Why don't you enter then?"
"On my way through," he lied again.
"Keep going!" she instructed. "I'm coming."
"Sure."
After assuring her, Brunos ran back to the corner and placed his ear on the wall again. Luckily, now he could hear her footsteps. Still with anticipation, he steaded his breath as her footsteps grew louder.
A few seconds passed.
He clenched his right hand into a fist then another hand. If he wanted his attack to be more effective, he would need to use both his fists.
Unfortunately, her footsteps stopped.
"Brunos," she called. "If you're already inside, why don't you tell Peony to came here?"
He kept silent.
"Brunos?"
At her second call, Brunos cursed under his breath and ran toward the door again. The demonness was intelligent. He would have to think of another plan.
The entrance was as huge as a corridor. After taking a few steps, he could see a swimming pool like thing in front of him. But that's not caught his attention. Inside, Brunos's eyes lay on otherworldly beauties, laying inside as if on the bitch sunbathing.
None of them noticed him approaching. For a spilt second, his mind went spinning. Why did he have to be so lucky?
Wait!
Did he say lucky?
How lucky was to be kidnapped by over 10,000 lustful beauties? Of course he could only see a dozen in front of him. But... but if Lania had told him they were over ten thousand, then they were. Maybe others were in some other chambers of that cave.
Stepping closer to the pool, he saw something that made him gulp rivers of saliva. It was... uh... a milk pot of the succubus who lay with her legs spread as wide as the Pacific Ocean. Like her friends in the pool, her eyes were closed, her hands resting beneath her head. The expression on her smooth sliver face was calm and satisfied.
'What are you staring at?' Brunos asked himself as he diverted his gaze from that green haired succubus.
Before attracting there attention, he wandered his eyes across the room for something to give him hope. What would be that one? Would it be a tall harp that stood near a chair on the right side of the pool? It would, if he was in need of music.
The crimson crystals were also of no use.
When saw nothing else except the succubi paintings on the walls, he cleared his throat to announce his arrival.
Surprisingly, none of them reacted.
'Maybe they thought I'm one their friends. How the hell I'm I supposed to attract their attention?'
He took another step.
'Should I say, hey, hi, guys, ladies...'
The list was long and rich, but Brunos could not fight the right word to use. Luckily, Lania's voice was enough to give him a way out that awkward situation.
"Brunos?"
"What?"
At his voice, all the succubi opened their eyes. Not even a single second passed before he saw all of them coming toward him with smiles and giggles of excitement.
Geez... didn't they see how naked they were? Why were they...
"I told you to tell Peony I want her here," replied Lania. "Do you want to trick me?"
Before Brunos could answer, a black haired succubus whose size, beauty and steps were ahead of the others said, "Lania, he's not trying any tricks. I'm on my way now."
She locked eyes with Brunos, and as she passed by him, she added, "I knew you would be useful when still alive."
Brunos's body was already burning. He had seen a naked succubus many times and played with her for all five years, but non of the experience was as breathtaking as the scene unfolding before his eyes.
The succubi approached him. Without reluctance in their actions, they pressed their enormous sift melons on him. "I've heard about your handsomeness when you were still the king," one of them said.
"I was a maid at your castle," informed another succubus. "And you were the reason behind my first masturbation," she added as she turned to look at her friends. "Oh devils! Can you believe it's going to happen for real?"
