Chereads / My Lust Booster System / Chapter 42 - Lania's Turn

Chapter 42 - Lania's Turn

There, in a circular opening of what seemed like a dome for that cave, Fellene was illuminated by the light from behind, a long lustreless golden spear placed in his hands.

'W-what the fuck!'

Brunos exclaimed as if reciting a miraculous prayer. Where the hell did that spear come from?

Come to think of it, Lilyon had given him a sword out of no where. Straining his memory, he came to a conclusion that maybe they had a space storage ring, something he used to give MCs of his novels or... or some kind of soul core that allowed them to summon weapons hidden in their Soul Sea.

'Stop pondering about the origins of his weapon! All you need is to past beside him.'

It was as if his mind was inhabited by different people, one telling him to escape, another telling him to give up, one telling him to don't give up, another asking how.

'What should I do?'

"Little brother, I told you to stop," Fellene yelled at Brunos. "Don't force me to do things I didn't plan."

Being called little brother by his enemy gave Brunos enough courage to ignore him. If he answered, it would be like admitting he was his little brother. Instead, he laughed at Fellene's way of convincing people. It sucked.

Never stopping to fly, Brunos thought of using the bows he collected from the archers after knocking them down. Unfortunately, he had left the arrows behind.

First idea, useless.

As for flying straight to Fellene to crash him down, a lustreless golden spear he was holding was enough to make

Brunos change his mind.

...Unless he wanted to die of course; which he didn't want. He had to survive at all cost and return to earth to avenge his death, right?

Thus, second idea, useless.

Did he have a third one?

Even scavenging those two first ideas from the depths of his brain had took him quite some time. How was he supposed to scavenge a third idea in such a few seconds, Fellene's golden spear staring right at him?

Embarrassingly, he surrendered and returned inside the cave to face Lania's wrath. He had punched her, remember? She was surely going to have her revenge.

"This was my first time using that entrance," said Fellene as Peony tied Brunos's arms behind his back. "Thought it's a shortcut, when actually it's a blessing."

"That's called intuition," commented Peony still busy behind Brunos. She was beaming, as if happy to see Brunos back. After all, she looked like the most sex addict of all.

"You must have felt something pulling you to that entrance," she added.

"Yeah! There was something pulling me there. Turns out, it's my beloved brother Brunos."

After those full of sarcasm words, Fellene made sure to stand where Brunos could see his face clearly.

Reason?

So Brunos could see a series of smiles and grins that were about to tear Fellene's face apart. Simply, he was beaming. Almost a few inches to giggling.

After locking eyes with Brunos for long, Fellene took a step toward him.

"Do I need to remind you?"

Brunos raised an eyebrow.

"The Red Triangle," Fellene answered at Brunos's questioning look.

Internally, Brunos chuckled. 'Does he take me for a fool? If I give him the triangle, I'm sure as dead. I can't give it to him.'

Realizing that Brunos had lowered his gaze and ignored his demand, Fellene reached for his chin. He then raised it so Brunos could look him in the eyes.

It is at that moment when Brunos realized he didn't have beard. Back on earth, his beard was as tall as a forest monkey's hair.

'It's better this way, though.'

Actually, no incubus had beard.

Did it mean succubi girls didn't have pub...

'Pure thoughts please!'

Fellene didn't make Brunos look him in the eyes for he was handsome or what. He wanted to ask a question.

"Do you still want to be stubborn?"

Brunos stared at him unblinking.

"You call protecting what's mine being stubborn?"

Fellene harrumphed.

"How can you claim that the Red Triangle belongs to you? You of all people should know how I am the owner. I am the first born. It's mine."

Shaking his head to shake Fellene's hand off his chin, Brunos replied with a question. "How did it end up on my forehead then?"

Inside Fellene's blue eyes, some unknown emotions sparkled. Soon, his mood became somber as he said, "Perhaps your mother was a witch. She might have bewitched our father. She was a bitch after all. There's no way, of all his sons, he could give it to you."

Brunos felt angered by Fellene's words for some reason or another. Though that woman was not his true mother, calling her a bitch brought back his past life memories.

Enraged,

Brunos stared at Fellene for so long and then, after clearing his throat, he spat at him. At least that's what he could do. He had no words to express his feelings.

Peony, who was done tying Brunos with intangible maroon chains, rushed to her master to whip away the sticky hot gift from Brunos the humble man with a heart kind enough to donate such a rare gift.

Fellne's killing intent doubled.

"How dare you?"

To be exact, it surpassed that of mighty ten warriors in the middle of a battle to avenge their beloved ones.

That's what Brunos wanted. To make him as enraged as he had made him by calling his mother a bitch.

Wait!

On what cost?

A slap of course.

Fellene would not be kind enough to punch him. A slap was an insult to a man. He sure knew how to retaliate.

"Give me the triangle first," Fellene roared. "Then I'm going to slap you to death."

Brunos felt like laughing. However, he knew better not to waste his precious laughter on such childish words. It was like saying, give me your armour so I can stab you to death. Was he crazy?

It just filled Brunos with disdain and, soon or later, Fellene was going to pay for it. Compared to when he arrived in the Succubi Realms, now Brunos was a bit stronger. It was only three days. What if it were weeks or months? He was sure he would become more stronger.

Even his system was still on trial level. The actual quests were yet to begin and he was yet to get more powerful.

...If he escaped of course.

That's why he had to escape no matter what.

"Don't just stare at me! Give me the triangle."

Brunos mimicked Fellene's words internally though a bit different.

'Don't stop me from stabbing you. Give me your armour.'

Wasn't it the same?

"Master," said one the archers Brunos had knocked down a few minutes ago. "Why don't you just kill him? It's not like the queen can stand in our way knowing we have his precious stone here."

"Yeah!" Another archer added. She sounded more determined than her companion. "Just kill him. All you want is to become a king. You can just blackmail the queen by lying to her that if he try to go against you, Brunos will die. Just like that, we will conquer the Crimson Castle and claim you as our king."

Fellene listened to them silently then said,

"I don't want to be a king."

Even Brunos was surprised by Fellene's answer.

"If that's what I wanted," he explained. "This cave is as populated as one of the kingdoms in the Succubi Realms. I'm already a king. All I want is to become a legitimate ruler. To inherite my ancestors' legacy. I cannot let this illegitimate trash take my inheritance into a grave. Do you understand me now?"

The archers nodded with a hint of enlightenment and admiration.

Hearing at Fellene's confession that, unless he surrendered the Red Triangle he was going to be alive, a wide grin that threatened to tear Brunos's face emegerged.

Wasn't Fellene a good hearted person? He just gave Brunos an advice on how to survive, right?

"Thank you big brother Fellene."

At his words, Fellene gave him a questioning look.

"Oh! I'm thanking you for just warning me on what I should do. Because of you, now I know that I cannot give you the Red Triangle unless I wish to die."

His words meant only one thing. You're] an idiot!

Fellene's expression changed from bad to worse.

That's what Brunos wanted. When your enemy is enraged, he leaves a room for mistakes; just a single mistake would be enough for Brunos to escape.

Come to think of it, the whole situation was ridiculous. If it was a novel he was writing, Brunos would be the MC considering the fact that he was the one who transmigrated. However, he would never put his MC in such a situation.

'I better leave soon. This is embrassing and out of plot.'

In front of him, Fellene was opening his mouth.

"Oh! I forgot to add something."

Still smiling, Brunos raised an eyebrow.

Fellene clenched his hands into fists and looked at Brunos with a mixture of killing intent and determination.

"That I'm going to punch ignorance out of you. After that, you'll know who I truly am. Then, I will punch arrogance out of you. If you insist on keeping it, it will not be my mistake. I would have killed you trying to save my ancestors' legacy, at least."

Brunos thought Fellene was kidding, but he was not. After clicking his knuckles, all Brunos experienced was a stream of punches.

'Go on! Endure it! Just a single mistake. Finish them.'

Feeling the muscles on his face burning with pain, Brunos couldn't help but imagine himself with a face like a meat bag. Even when he was still on earth, his face wasn't like that.

'Can't you punch anywhere else except the face?' Brunos pleaded internally. 'I don't want to die ugly. Please!'

Luckily, Fellene paused to breath giving Brunos a second to breath too. At least that's how he assumed.

But it was not.

Instead, it was Lania's turn.

...With her own ways of torturing males of course.
