Valeria, who was paying attention to Morrin's behavior, had already guessed who was behind all the plots to kill Brunos. Seeing the look on her face, there was no mistake that the culprit was Fellene. She had even caught him red handed last night.
That's why Morrin's answer surprised her.
"It's the Old Generation," said Morrin.
With the look of relief that Morrin's answer sent to Fellene's face, Valeria was sure Fellene was hiding something.
Why did Morrin say someone else then?
To find out an answer, Valeria knew she had to somehow talk to Morrin privately. She also had to make sure that Fellene would not know about their meeting. After all, giving your enemy false confidence that he has you in his palm, is the strongest weapon one could ever have.
When he is over confident, he leaves loopholes in his plans. The loopholes you utilize with a blow that hits where it hurts the most.
Knowing exactly how to manipulate Fellene, Valeria opened her mouth and asked, "Old Generation? Did they say their demands?"
"None was able to survive my sword except Lania," answered Morrin. "But Brunos has followed her. Maybe he will get something from her."
At the mention of Brunos, Valeria felt a sudden sense of fear and concern flooding into her heart. The atmosphere became gloomier when she saw Fellene's mischievous smile. It was as if he knew what Lania would do to Brunos.
If it was back in time, Valeria would not be questioning Brunos's strength. But now that she had witnessed the scene where Fellene was beating him like a drum, she could not help but accept that he wasn't as strong as he used to be. Even his aura wasn't that intimidating. She had to go search for him as soon as possible.
The question was, where in Grinan would she search for him?
Only one person could know where Brunos was.
She kept herself composed and stared into Fellene's eyes with a commanding look.
"Fellene, go bring Brunos," she ordered. "I'm going to prepare for the war if Old Generation has gone insane"
Before Fellene could say anything, Valeria turned at Morrin with a reassuring expression. "Go call our troops. There's no going in the Pergus valley today."
Morrin opened her mouth to say something, but hesitated. With a nod, she turned to her heel and left the scene.
Fellene, seemingly satisfied by the fact that Valeria didn't know anything yet, locked eyes with her before saying, "As you wish my queen."
Soon, their gaze that seemed to hold unspoken truth wavered, and Fellene walked down the hall with determination.
'If you think you can kill my Brunos,' thought Valeria. 'You're wrong.'
She then turned to one of the Auburns. "Fetch me Morrin. Now!"

Brunos stood surrounded by Lania's illusions, not believing he was going to die like that. Around him, there was nothing to give him hope. Swimming would be of no use, his super speed the same, and he couldn't risk flying again.
At that moment,
*Ding!
[Kill a Pergus Mission.]
[One hour gone. Remaining duration: 1 day. 17 hours. 36 minutes.]
In the middle of that hopeless situation, Brunos didn't expect to receive such a discouraging notification. How was he going to kill a Pergus without going at the Pergus valley?
He remembered planning to shorten his conversation with Valeria. If not for Lania, he would have reached the Pergus by now. With fury and accusation in his eyes, he looked at her illusions, but found no courage to attack.
How on earth would he know who the real one was?
Refusing to accept he was doomed, he gritted his teeth and activated his Super Speed ability. As he charged forward, his blue eyes glowed red.
'Run like a shooting star and punch one of them. If it's an illusion, go for another until you find the real one.'
As expected his first target was an illusion. He didn't wait for any second to pass. He ran toward another, then another then another.
As he was about to punch another illusion or probably the real Lania, something unexpected crashed his determination.
"Don't take another step. If you do, I'm going to blow off your head."
In Lania's hands, a huge fire ball emerged as she spoke those words. To Brunos, It was like being surrounded by 40 Amellias with their fire balls ready to barbecue him at any second.
He still couldn't shake off Amellia's cruelty with her fire balls. Now it was that demonness Lania with them. The revaletion weighed heavy on Brunos, the reality of the doom awaiting him making his legs refuse to move forward.
"I'm glad that Amellia taught me this."
'Dollian!'
Left without any choice but to surrender, Brunos decided to call Dollian for assistance.
However, Dollian didn't respond. He called again and again but to no avail. Maybe everything had decided to go against him.
'Dollian, didn't you tell me you're ready to help me? That if I die you'll also suffer the consequences. Where are you then?'
After a one man conversation, Brunos accepted his cruel fate and sat down.
'He he!'
Lania's giggle forced him to glance at her.
As if the harsh reality wasn't too cruel for him to chew, Lania stood there caressing her pink nipples with an alluring smile on her face.
"It seems like you don't want to fight anymore. Now, I want only two things from you. First, the Red Triangle. Second..."
She cleared her throat.
Like before, she made a seductive move of her index finger tracing down her cleavage. "Uh... you know what I mean, right?"
Considering the situation, Brunos was in no need of such things. All he wanted was a way out that hopeless situation. But he couldn't shake off the idea that Lania was beautiful. A meal that every man would be eager to devour at any cost.
If he had to devour it to survive, why would he hesitate? In the middle the act, he would take her by surprise and seal her fate with a one punch kill.
"Why are you so quite? Too mesmerised to answer?"
Instead of answering her, Brunos was busy talking to himself internally.
'If I'm still alive, there has to be a way.'
When she requested the Red Triangle, Brunos didn't need to ask her who was her master. Who else would it be rather than Fellene. Now, he had some hope. If they were desperate to get the Red Triangle, he still have some time alive. And with time, everything was possible.
He stood up and took a step toward her.
"I'm not mesmerised," he said. "I'm only afraid you might not survive my roughness."
She approached him.
"Don't think highly of yourself. How can a weakling like you hurt me. If it was not for my longing to taste on something new, I wouldn't have proposed that from someone who can't even drive me to orgasm."
"Can you bet on that?" he asked.
"Of course!"
For she was a few inches from him, Brunos raised his hands to touch her juicy melons. That's when an idea slipped into his mind.
The reason he couldn't fight her was her illusions. Because it was too difficult for him to know the real one. Now that she was too stupid to let him touch her, wasn't it an opportunity for him to know the real one?
'I'm going to give her some caress, then a super speed punch. If she survives one, the second one would be ready. Mission completed.'
The corners of his lips curled into that I'm lucky smile of his.
Surprisingly, his hands, raised and eager to fondle those otherworldly melons of hers, touched nothing.
'It's an illusion.'
"How do you expect me to satisfy you if I can't even touch you?" he complained walking toward another Lania.
At his question, Lania and her illusions let out a giggle. "He he! Do you think I'm a fool? I might be lustful, but I'm not that idiot."
Brunos raised an eyebrow, making sure to glance in all directions so the real Lania would see his expression.
"Don't look at me like that. I know what you want. To take me off-guard while in the middle of it."
Brunos chuckled.
"I'm afraid we won't do it then."
"No! We will do it. But not out here. I'm going to take you to my cave."
Brunos felt like laughing. What would that change? It was even better in the cave. Send chills down her spine, then proceed with your escape plan while she is busy sucking on your cock.
"Why don't you take me to your cave then?"
Lania pointed her long nailed finger at the cliff. The one with many openings.
"Do you see that hole with peony flowers around it? That's the entrance to our city. There are over 10,000 Old Generation in there."
Brunos's mouth fell open.
"Huh?"
"He he!"
With a giggle, Lania flew toward the cliff she had just pointed her finger at. "Did you think I live alone?"
Brunos stared at the flying Lanias with a stupefied expression. He still couldn't believe his cruel fate was sealed.
"Don't keep me waiting," Her voices echoed around the area. "Come! I'm sure my friends haven't tasted on something different for a long time too."
