Chapter 15 - 15. Entry level

small achievement would be able to manipulate 10 knives simultaneously.

Great achievement would be able to manipulate 25 simultaneously.

And reaching the level of Completion the wielder is said to be able to manipulate 50 flying knives at the same time.

But this level of completion had nothing to do with Fang Yang.

Reaching completion would require several years of ardent practice, and Fang Yang hoped that by then he would have already moved onto a much stronger technique.

For Fang Yang, this Flying Swallow Knife Art was only going to get him through this brief transitionary point in time until he could eventually move onto a much stronger one.

Walking into the shared training ground, Fang Yang began to practise the technique.

As a cultivator, Fang Yang's physical strength and mental strength were much higher than regular people, so it didn't take him much time to get started with the technique.

The knife he threw out was a silver blur, lodging itself deeply into a wooden stake in front of him.

Fang Yang hadn't specifically practised knife throwing before, but his enhanced mental strength allowed him to quickly adjust and reach a decent skill level in a short period of time.

But even with this, Fang Yang didn't rest just yet.

For the next few hours, Fang Yang didn't take a break, constantly throwing out knives and practising with the sun shining down on him and his efforts didn't go unrewarded.

After just 1 hour of practice, Fang Yang could now reliably hit anything within 30 metres of him.

After 3 hours, Fang Yang had mastered the ability to hit anything whilst also throwing 5 knives simultaneously and could actually start practising the real Flying Swallow Knife Art

Although it hadn't been particularly hard to get to this stage, this was where the difficulty of the Flying Swallow Knife Art truly began

The true charm of the Flying Swallow Knife Art lay in the fact that the knives could be manipulated mid air to change directions.

Fortunately, Fang Yang already had some experience in object control art so he was rather experienced with forming links marks on objects using his Qi.

Quickly wrapping the knives with his Qi and Divine Sense, Fang Yang formed a rudimentary connection with them and began to practise the Flying knife art.

His hand flickered as five silver lights shot in different directions.

Fang Yang wasn't done yet. Using the method shown in the Flying Swallow Knife Art, Fang Yang tried to control the knives and change the direction.

But as he tried, Fang Yang's expression quickly turned ugly.

The second he tried to change the direction of the Knives, he was met with a strong resistance.

The best way to describe it would be like trying to drive a car with an extremely stiff steering wheel.

He had to put on an extreme amount of effort only to get a small response in return

What made Fang Yang even more annoyed was that even after all that effort, it would only allow for Fang Yang to make large turns at a time.

It was basically impossible for him to make small and precise movements.

After realising all the restrictions that came with Flying Swallow Knife Art, Fang Yang couldn't help but feel a little cheated.

But after thinking about it for a while, Fang Yang thought that it kind of made sense.

If the Flying Swallow Knife Art really allowed for such precise and easy control of numerous flying knives, then it definitely wouldn't be a low rank-mortal technique. It might not even be a Mortal grade technique at all.

So although it wasn't as outstanding as he had imagined, the Flying Swallow Knife Art still reached an acceptable standard.

Thinking like this, Fang Yang didn't complain any longer and dived deeper into his practice.

Hours passed by, but Fang Yang could still be seen on the training ground, constantly sending out flying knives in all different directions.

Sweat had been pouring from Fang Yang's head for hours, but after a while, a smile suddenly appeared on his face.

'Finally!' Thought Fang Yang with a little excitement

His hand flickered like a ghostly phantom as five glowing silver lights shot out in all directions. But as they were flying, the knives suddenly changed directions, crisscrossing over each other forming a terrifying silver web!

The knives then change direction one more time before piercing deep into the training stakes placed around the training ground.

Looking at the sight, Fang Yang couldn't help but nod in satisfaction.

After an entire day of persistent training, Fang Yang had managed to reach the entry level of the Flying Swallow Knife Art .

With this, Fang Yang had some sort of lethal offensive move in his arsenal.

Now things were like this, Fang Yang wanted to know where the true limits of his strength were.

With that thought, Fang Yang brought out his Battle Saint Corpse puppet and got it to stand roughly 10 metres in front of him

Five silver lights then shot out of Fang Yang's sleeve at a terrifying speed.

"Bang!"

The lights smashed into the zombie's skin with a terrifying bang, but after that they just bounced off, falling onto the floor.

Looking at the Corpse puppet again, Fang Yang could only see a few white marks on the skin of the corpse puppet where the

Knives had impacted.

Other than that, the Corpse puppet remained completely unaffected.

But Fang Yang wasn't too surprised. The Battle Saint Corpse puppet already had defended comparable to a Mid-stage Iron Corpse puppet.

So to actually damage it, Fang Yang would need to have combat power of at least a mid-stage Qi cultivator and that was a tall ask from a Low-Rank mortal technique.

Moving the Corpse puppet to the side, Fang Yang used his system to summon a skeleton.

Instantly, a black mist spread out as a tall bone figure crawled out of the ground holding a large bone sabre
