After a long and tiring day, Beatrice woke up in the middle of the night and felt a pang of disappointment when she realized that Gilbert wasn't beside her.
She longed to cuddle up next to him and feel his warmth, but instead, she found herself alone in the bed.
As she stood up, she noticed that the balcony was open, and she walked over to it, curious. There, she saw Gilbert smoking a cigar and gazing at the beautiful full moon.
Beatrice couldn't help but be mesmerized by the sight of him, looking so handsome and mysterious in the moonlight. She approached him from behind and wrapped her arms around his waist, feeling his strong body against hers.
"What are you doing here all alone, Gilbert?" she whispered, her breath warm against his ear.
Gilbert turned around to face her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Just enjoying the view," he replied, taking another drag from his cigar.
