The person that opened it was Arthur, he looked at her with a puzzled look as he furrowed his brows and tilted his head slightly. "Mother, what are you doing here?" he asked, taking a step closer to her. He crossed his arms, his stance firm and unyielding.
"And what kind of trouble do you want to do again?" Arthur asked, his voice heavy with both frustration and concern.
Duchess Alicia struggled to keep her composure, heart pounding in her chest as she tried to appear nonchalant. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, her hand clenching tightly around the bottle of poison hidden in her pocket.
