She looked down at her dress. Though it was still appropriate, the top of her dress was too low, and people could see the fold between her breasts. Edward's comment made her feel uncomfortable, and she thought it was inappropriate of him to make such remarks.
She fixed her gaze on him and replied, "But this was a trend in the noble circle." Beatrice spoke firmly, emphasizing that using a too-covered dress was not trendy anymore.
Edward just smiled and said, "But I like it more, it reminds me of our time together a long time ago." His words made her feel even more uneasy.
