Ruri and Lou stayed in the room sitting on another of the sofas. They both had a red mark around their wrists with strange, ancient letters. They were the letters of the incantation to silence them, if they dared to say a single word about what they had seen in the hotel or about Eva and her allies, they would die cruelly, their veins would open and they would bleed out in pain.
"How come you survived?" Ruri asked Lee as he was still lying on the couch, still with the bloodline attached to his arm. He looked tired, despite taking blood.
Lee smiled with his eyes closed, his fangs seeming to grow a little. "Ruri, luck has always been on my side."
Ruri frowned. "Stop your nonsense, they should have killed you months ago, you should have died in the dungeon, why did they bring you here?"
"So you knew?" Lee laughed, "after everything we did together, you feel no remorse for sending me to my death."
