"We did an x-ray to check for any more damage on her foot, but luckily it's just a dislocation only. You guys did the right thing bringing her here, though you should have come a lot sooner. She seems to have stressed her foot and that is what caused the swelling, but she'll be fine. It's just going to take a little longer for her foot to recover"
"How long actually do you mean, doctor?" Sydney asked, eager to know how long it was going to take Ellie's hurt foot to recover. The injury was starting to sound a little too serious, she thought it was something that would just get better once it got treated.
Now she sees why Ellie has always wanted her to turn her. If she was supernatural, her foot would have healed long ago. Having to go to the hospital for treatment would have never happened.
