Sydney stopped halfway abruptly on reaching the stairs to go to her room upstairs, when a knock was suddenly heard on the entrance door. She swiftly moved her attention over to Ellie, seated on the armrest of the couch and Ellie returned the same questioning look.
Who the hell is knocking?
"Who do you think it is? Should I answer it?" She asked in a low manner to know if they were going to leave the person knocking outside, or if they were going to let them in. Sydney's looking too puzzled to move towards the door to answer it.
"No!, wait Ellie!" Sydney yelled but in a low manner as she quickly tiptoed towards the door Ellie was headed to already and stopped her from opening it.
