A massive red streak of energy suddenly appeared in the air, it was vibrating and soon after a body followed it's appearance as the energy exploded into bits, knocking Xadia down to the ground.
Xadia opened his blurry eyes and shifted into a sitting position to see where he was, and as soon as he did, his senses began to awaken and he could hear a lot of noise, and they were all roars and rages of men.
His eyes began to clear, and just as he regained his sense of sight, and a foot came into view, a kick was delivered to his face, knocking him to the ground. The attack wasn't stopping as the attacker kept on going on, kicking in rapid succession at Xadia's body.
Xadia soon rolled to see the incoming account, and successfully cut the spiked boot foot of the attacker with his hands. Xadia then sprung his legs around the attacker performing a leg sweep while still holding the attackers other leg.
The spiked boot attacker soon came down at Xadia's evasive leg sweep knocking down the attacker to the ground, and the attacker wasn't getting up again; pained groans could be heard from the attacker
It was now that Xadia's sense immediately caved in to the noise and scenery he was now in, he was back in the city, and this was an alley he was familiar with, one that embraced certain memories. The clash of harsh voices and the metallic clang of weapons reverberated around him, filling the air with an electric tension, it was no doubt a gang turf war.
Xadia's heart raced as he stood at the edge of the chaotic scene, his senses overwhelmed by the cacophony of violence that surrounded him. But that wasn't his fear, it was the color of the gang's outfit, it was one he recognized.
The gang he stole the briefcase from, technically his strange powers stole the credit money card-briefcase. But if this was an all out turf war, he wouldn't want to be caught in the middle of this, especially if he got noticed and mistaken for a gang member like he just did.
Xadia alighted from the ground and smiled, he was finally back in the city, they survived the planet, he was literally here, even though the city didn't welcome his wake from slumber, it felt good and relieving to be away from the scavages of a forsaken planet.
'I'm here, finally, but where are the others,' Xadia thought trying to see if there was someone unusual like him. He soon caught the attention of a gang member who yelled as he rushed at Xadia with a glowing hockey-like bat.
The gang member swiftly swung the bat at Xadia. It was very fast and inhuman. Something that couldn't be done that quick, the bat was powered by a small glowing crystal by the hilt.
Xadia quickly moved with motion and velocity, dodging the swing, using a slip skill, he moved his head to his left side of the shoulder and delivered a punch to the face of the attacker.
'Where are you guys, did you make it,' Xadia thought as he began to surreptitiously ignore the turf war, trying to fight his way out, there were plenty disturbance from different gang members, all which Xadia dealt with easily;
Of course a humans strength isn't comparable to that of a siphons, as long as there's no siphon here he would be out of here in no time, his excuse for still hanging around was a chance that his schoolmates where here.
The groans and grunt of the gang members suddenly arose from behind where Xadia was dealing with an attacker. The atmosphere suddenly changed, and a lot of gang members started to retreat to the shadows.
"Slade's here!!!!!!" A gang member shouted announcing to his comrades.
Delivering a last punch to an attacker, Xadia turned to see the commotion that was coming from behind. A body in the air crashed against Xadia as soon as he moved his head, pushing him down to the ground.
Xadia rolled the weighing body and sat on his butt Xadia's heart began to beat like a machine gun, the one called Slade wasn't someone he was unfamiliar with, it was someone who he barely escaped from.
"Why are you retreating, don't you wanna fight again, isn't this your turf, huh!!!!" Slade yelled at his rivals. His eyes soon dug down Xadia, and their eyes met, Slade's eyes flickered, his burrows knitted, he clenched his prosthetic arm and an immense amount of energy emancipated from him. "You," Slade groaned.
Like a prey in front of a predator, Xadia's instincts kicked in, his skin crawled, his heart leapt, and a rush of adrenaline powered through him. He got up from the floor and began to make his escape. "You're not getting away this time!" Slade said and gave chase to Xadia.
Xadia's made for the other side of the alley, struggling and dodging attacks for the still preceding turf war. He looked back and he could see Slade powering towards him, and with the pace he was going he was soon to be caught, there were lots of obstacles in the way he needed to get rid of.
While Xadia was dodging and scrambling through the crowd, Slade made no care for the obstacles in his way, he punched and knocked, crashing through any interference during his chase.
Slade soon closed up the gap between him and his chase. Xadia's way was soon obstructed and he could see that Slade was now a few steps away from him, he needed to go faster and there was only one way he could.
Xadia slid through the floor going past two gang members, he then dropped on one of his knees, he then quickly turned on his Cr5 sneakers, he then lifted from the floor straight at the wall, he pushed at it and headed for the opposite wall, completely ignoring the fight going down below, but he wasn't going past three meters away from the human height.
He had learned his lesson from his previous encounter with Slade, going airborne wasn't an option; his hunter was good on both aerial attacks and land attacks. Slade soon followed after Xadia using the same tactics, the alley walls was the perfect idea for a quick and fast maneuver to get past the fighting below.
Xadia soon got down from the walls, he was soon out of the alley, and there were no more walls to leap at, Xadia looked back at his chaser and he could see he was still at the pace. His heart leapt to his throat, he soon rushed out to the city road and there were hover cars sweeping through like waves of the ocean. Somehow he was dodging and jumping on them, evading any possible hit, and he soon got to the other end of the alley, falling to his face, he got up and looked back at his hunter..
"I meant it when I said you're not going this time," Slade yelled, and bent his knees. He took one leap to the air and he was soon in front of Xadia with a glowing blade claws protruding from his prosthetic fingers. He swiped at Xadia, who performed a backflip to dodge the attack.
Slade rushed at Xadia making a swipe at his face, Xadia moved backwards but the attack was delivered across his face and a claw mark formed on his face, and blood began to drip from the cut.
Xadia moved both his hands to his face in reaction to the pain, "Aaaarrhhh," Xadia screamed, falling to his knees. He then looked up to the domineering energy coming from Slade.
"You escaped from the other time," Slade used his blood dripping prosthetic claw to carace his hair. "I made a promise to myself, I said I'd kill you, and that's what I'm going to do," Slade said with a stern face, he then clenched his prosthetic fist and out came a purple glowing blade.
A cut was made in the air, and Slade darted his eyes upwards in reaction. An invisible attack was delivered to his face, "Slade roared with his raucous voice, blood soon began to rush out of his left eye, smearing his furious face.
Slade wasn't given time to tend to the pain he was feeling, more invisible attacks came rushing at him in rapid succession. Slade covered his head with his prosthetic arm, even with the pain in his eyes his rage burned more energy.
Slade's attacker fell from the sky delivering a kick to Slade's prosthetic arm, the cheer force of his projectile knocked Slade to the fall. Slade's attacker shifted his attention to Xadia, he came in closer to Xadia's face and smiled.
"Jake?" Xadia exclaimed.
Slade burning rage siphoned his senses and he quickly stood from the floor, he moved to deal with his attacker. Seeing Slade's action, Xadia's other side clicked, his eyes glowed white, and he swiftly launched at Slade delivering a punch to his head, knocking him unconscious to the floor..
