There wasn't much for Ivy to do in the arcade, but there was one game she always played the VR game. And yesterday she had lost to a noob.
Although the noob had reasoned to send a friend request to her, he/she wasn't online to play the game, and Ivy was really looking forward to a rematch.
The game although detailed in movement and body structure, it was lacking in facial features and details. Making sure one wouldn't recognize who he/she fought with. A setting made by the authority to prevent physical fights in the VR room.
Having played a few matches and acing them all, there wasn't much of a challenge and she was getting bored and had decided to leave, leading her up to this moment.
Ivy then moved to xadia who was still lying on the ground.
" I thought Tyson was pretty clear about avoiding a fight with this guy,". This sentence caused annoyance to xadia.
" Same Tyson caused the fight". Xadia said pointing at Tyson who was meters away from them. Now he could only see Tyson on the ground, there were no second years in the area, and Xadia was wondering what had caused them to leave.
"What really happened,?"
"He had just finished fighting with Tyson when I got here, he then brought out a handcuff, then I rushed at him and gave him a punch that was supposed to knock him out, but he stood up again, then we started fighting and that's when you came".
"Why would he go after Tyson?" Ivy soliloquized and the question enveloped Xadia's mind.
There were lots of reasons why Tyson would be targeted, he was responsible for fighting against bullies, preferably second-year bullies, and his appetite for blood was the most questionable reason.
His stabs would leave his victims dormant of their siphon cells, slowing their body's healing process, leaving them to the unorthodox tedious presence of the infirmary, it was no doubt a reason to be targeted for his obstinate behavior.
"What are you doing?". Ivy asked as she could see Xadia holding at Roland's left arm.
"I wanna confirm something".
Pressing the button on Roland's watch, a holographic screen was instantly displayed, and the level 1 display was also at the edge of the screen. Pressing on an icon on the screen, the electronic handcuffs soon appeared in front of him, before disappearing into the watch, -closing the holographic display.
Pressing on the button again, the holographic screen was on display, but it was a bit different, its color was red, and on the edge of the screen, where the power level was, a level 6 could be seen.
"He's a second-year". Ivy declared.
"How do you know?"
"Our holographic screen is blue, in alignment with our blue uniforms that differentiates us first years from second years, their holographic screen is red as well in order of the differentiation".
Xadia hadn't noticed this, in the first place he hadn't even explored the features of the watch, other than using the watch for paying for credits, it hadn't come to his mind to check out the watch.
"No wonder his energy was so enticing, and I also didn't get a notification of a new classmate". Ivy said
"But why would he change his level and pretend like a first-year, can a second-year do that?". Xadia asked
"No, the point of the differentiation, was to distinguish us, students, besides the second years like to clarify that they're above us, they would never relate to us unless they were given a task from the counselor. come to think of it even Mr. Harper didn't introduce him". Ivy said putting her hand on her chin.
The realization of the situation at hand dawned on Xadia. When Roland wakes up, he was sure that he would be reported and punished for interfering with a task, not only that, Tyson might be expelled from the academy.
"Uhm Ivy, can you like make him forget about his fight with me and Tyson, I think we might be in trouble".
"I can, but not here, maybe in my room, I'll go get Tyson we can go now," Ivy said walking away from him.
Xadia then lifted Roland onto his shoulders before going to meet Ivy who had Tyson on her back. There was no restraint from her, despite the fact that she was a girl and was carrying someone more than her weight.
"Stay close to me, I'm siphoning a cloaking spell, we don't want to be seen by anyone". Throwing her hands in the air, it then lit up blue. "Invisique consem aurea et mex torea,".
They soon arrived at Ivy's room, and dropping the two unconscious bodies on the floor, Ivy then began to draw a circle around Roland with crystal chalk, and there were strange rune-like drawings at every curve.
And after a few minutes later, she was done with the spell. "He won't remember anything about the fight now, he'll be awake in about an hour, you best take away from here now. I just spelled my staff with the cloak spell, you'll be cloaked while holding it, here". Ivy said giving Xadia the staff.
"Thank you, we owe you one".
Xadia then picked up Roland and headed out of the room. He had an idea where he would drop Roland and he thought it would be better if he returned him to the second-year area by their dorm building.
Heading back to Ivy's room, he could now see a circle drawn around Tyson's unconscious body, and Ivy was in the circle kneeling on the floor beside him, and he was wondering why it was that way.
Sensing the presence in the room, Ivy then moved her head to look at Xadia, and her face read weary. "We have a problem".
