I saw the way he stared at me- he was shocked but this was my decision and I wished he would respect it.

I was also shocked by my words but I guess this was the best thing right now. Without giving him a response, I removed his hand from my waist and hopefully, he didn't bother to oppose my action, instead, his frown only got worse.
