Night came quickly with the house looking deserted. Seth hadn't bothered to intervene in our privacy and hell did Dav take advantage of that. He hadn't let me leave his side as he kept sprouting out some elegant words to me while I lay on the couch with my head on Dav's lap.
Dav's thoughts were clear, even though he had tried to pretend that he didn't care by trying to cover up with a smile but he failed to realize that I could see through him.
He seemed scared, scared that he would be the next King with me as the Queen and also the fact that he would lose his father to the cold hands of death.
Things weren't surely going as planned but we will have to take it as we see it and embrace for the nearest future, for Lucius and the Queen because for some reason, I had the feeling that Dav wouldn't be handed the throne in a plate of gold especially when he had no half breed heir.
