I could see falling trees from far ahead as a loud growl echoed in the air. No one needed to tell me that this wouldn't end well but I had to put my hopes high. Seth was the only way we could get out of the forest alive unless Dav would happen to show up which was most unlikely.
Seth turned his gaze to me, the look on his face showed that he was not satisfied with where I had hidden but at the same time, I couldn't possibly hide deep inside the forest. It seemed he had forgotten that there was a big possibility that another beast might be there.
Left with no option, Seth nodded as an assurance that everything would be okay. If only the beast had passed through another route instead of the only way we could exit the forest, then Seth wouldn't have bothered facing off with the beast.
