No words could describe how confused Eliza was, why would Dav behave like she was a contagion that needs to be avoided and why was he trying to hide his face away from her?
Without a second thought, she moved closer to him but he didn't let her take more than two steps as he stretched forth his hands as a sign that she shouldn't come any closer.
But his actions were enough to release a gasp from Eliza's mouth. It was confirmed, something was wrong with Dav. His fingers seemed to have elongated and more sharp. They weren't the transparent perfect fingers that she had always admired, they were plain black, so she needed no one to remind her to back off.
"Dav." She whispered but still, Dav didn't dare to turn his gaze to her.
"Dav, what's wrong? Why is your finger that way?" Immediately she said those words, a gasp was let out of him as he retorted his hand back to its hiding.
"Was it because of the kiss, does that mean that you don't desire me…"
