At least, this time, he didn't kiss me to make Seth jealous. Though it took longer than just a quick kiss, I could sense that Dav had tried to pass across a message of assurance.
"Okay, as long we are safe, I'm okay with leaving," I said.
The moment those words left my mouth, Dav embraced me for a hug, burying my face into his chest, which resulted in a comfortable silence but it seemed he had no plans of letting me go as we stayed in that position for some minutes and I also had no plans of pushing me away. I wouldn't mind being in his embrace for eternity.
"I guess this is my queue to leave, I will help Agatha pack. See you by tomorrow." Seth uttered and the next thing I heard was the door being shut.
"Wife." I heard Dav call.
With my face still buried in his chest, there was no way to respond to his call but I simply hummed.
