The disappointment was clearly written on her face. The day was clearly going down the drain which meant Gabriel was supposed to be there but it's been over an hour since she's been resting her back on a tree.
Just like the light of the day, the feeling of excitement that seemed to have enveloped her had slowly run down the drain. This could only bring forth a series of negative thoughts. She wondered if she had looked so desperate that Gabriel might not want her again and might have considered her as 'cheap'
Was that the reason why he had not come to see her? Did she go overboard? Didn't he want her again?
Overwhelmed by her thoughts, Jasmine had no idea when tears began to envelop her eyes. Still, she stated, hoping that Gabriel would turn up but no! An hour turned into two hours, then three hours, and finally four hours of waiting.
