There, I got to the room with my heart threatening to jump out of my mouth.
This was not what I had thought I would see… it was never.
Letting out a sigh, I decided to go sit on the bed, at least to wait for Dav's return and probably to think of the words I shall use to apologize.
Out of the blue, before I could even take a step, some sort of vortex, which emitted a wave of negative energy popped up from an empty space, only for a shocking figure to walk out of it.
My reflexes jumped in as I jolted back to the door but didn't even get the opportunity to touch the doorknob when I felt two strong arms around my waist.
"Let go of me, what do you want?" I yelled but I guess this vamp was in no mood for talking. He did not attempt to give an answer or even introduce himself as the next second, he jumped right into the portal, making me fall into an instant sleep.
