In an instant, I raised my head and pushed my focus to Dav. Why was he doing this to himself? In this weak state? Why would he want to go back to the castle after he had just recovered from a poison attack?
But the determination in his eyes showed that I wouldn't be able to stop him from doing as he pleased.
"Then, Ray and I will come with you." Leo blurted out, earning a nod from Dav.
"What about Prince Seth, he has to come with us because this also concerns him, after the female knows the secret."
There it goes again, the secret that they were so hell-bent on not letting me know. I knew that sooner or later, I would find out but I wanted to know what it was at that moment. The patience that I had thought myself to have was gone. I can't possibly be the only one under this roof that wouldn't know what Dav's secret was, right?
