Waking up Caesar was greeted with a familiar ceiling, soon he picked himself up and started remembering what happened last night 'I was thinking about what I was going to do today and then my head started aching and then I probably lost my consciousness. Guess I need to have talk with healer Rena about this.'
"Young master bath is ready."
Hearing Helen's voice Caesar came out of his reverie and replied "Ahh! yes, yes"
Helen who was currently facing Caesar saw sometime and started blushing heavily and said in coquettish voice, "Young master, we can't do sometime like this, you are too young to do it and we still have to ask permission from butler Mors as I am just your personal maid moreover sun had only arise, we can't do it in morning."
Caesar tried to comprehend what Helen said but failed to do so and got out of bed but strangely the Helen just stood there eyeing Caesar or more exactly his lower part of the body. Soon Caesar's head moved down and he could see a bulge forming in his pants, Caesar was having a morning wood, blood started rushing to his head and his face turned beet red in embarrassment. Seeing that Helen had misunderstood Caesar's morning wood for his desire for her body.
Caesar tried to clear the misunderstanding but due to heavy embarrassment he started stuttering, "L-listen its no-ot what you t-think it is Hel-lan. Its j -just morin--"
"Its fine young master, you are a growing boy a-and I know you have some needs but its s-still too early for you to do such activities, but please let me first ask butler Mors about what I should do."
Caesar had a deep frown on his face. His maid had thought something she shouldn't have. It was true that recently Caesar was getting interested in women body and he even tried peeking on maid who were changing cloths. But today the only thought he had was of awakening ceremony he was going through but the maid has ruined his mood by her thoughtless thinking which irked Caesar so he said in cold voice.
"Stop thinking with that useless brain of yours Helen. just continue with your work, and there is no need for you to wash my body I will do it myself so just leave."
Helen tried to say something but Caesar had already gone toward the bathroom without waiting for her reply.
After the bathroom door was shut Helen released a sigh and murmured, "Its seems young master is growing well, I guess its time to talk to butler Mors about this." Saying this Helen quietly left the room.
Caesar took a long bath and was now fully dressed but it seem, there was still some time before the ceremony so he decided to go to his garden.
Caesar was currently moving toward the garden to sit under the large tree. The tree had large leaves which provide a nice shed and gives protection from sunlight.
Reaching the garden Caesar could already see the sofa-chair placed under the tree and two maids standing behind the chair with one maid having a book in her hand and another maid having a tea set. After sitting, the maid gently place the book in front of Caesar. Caesar picked the book and started reading from the page which was bookmarked.
There were still some hours before the awakening ceremony to takes place, the kids from other branch family might already have come but instead of greeting them Caesar just continued his reading session, reading his now half- finished novel.
The Rosehart family was one of the great noble family within empire of Silica with more than 1000 years of history. Rosehart was one of the strongest noble family in empire with no other competitor, just below the royal family in term of status. The current patriarch is Jonathan Von Rosehart a Supreme rank awakened human. Except for the main line of family, there were other branch family of Rosehart and some vassal family who govern the other territories which come under the Rosehart . But the most noticeable difference is that main branch members have 'Von' between there first and last name but for branch family they do not have the right to use the word 'Von' in there full name.
After being reminded about the time, Caesar quickly left the garden and goes to the third training ground as that was the designated spot were the awakening ceremony was going to take place. There was still some time left. After reaching, Caesar could already see various people already present on the training ground, a bunch of guards and few kids around his age. As soon as he entered the training ground the guards straighten their back and greeted Caesar.
"Welcome young master."
Seeing the guard greeting Caesar, 7 other children who were standing their also greeted Caesar with smile on there face but the smile didn't came from heart rather they were cursing Caesar inside their head. Everyone in noble circle knew about the behaviour of the child named Caesar Von Rosehart , he was vicious, vile, sadistic with the thought of noble superiority, bloodline and lineage deep rooted inside his mind. He thoroughly hated commoner and he would not even like to spend a second in same room with a commoner and this just didn't end with commoners. Caesar didn't even respect the servants serving him and he treated those individuals from branch family the same as he treats his servants. This had led to him being unpopular within noble circle. People treated him with courtesy face to face but behind his back they will curse him for his immature behaviour and crude sense of superiority.
This was happening now, the 12 -year old kids from branch family were greeting him but their smile were all but fake cause if Caesar gets irritated because of their behaviour then he is going to shame and degrade them in front of everyone present here.
Caesar just being Caesar, didn't greet anyone and just ignored all the guards and kids, and sat on the chair which were arranged for them to have a sit.
Few moments later a middle age man came on the training ground and introduced himself.
"Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Rebourn Rosehart and I am a master rank awakened in lightsaviour unit which is under the command of Derek Von Rosehart . There are still 50 minutes remaining before patriarch and first elder arrives so I have been called here to gave you all introduction about the world of awakened people."
Rebourn Rosehart eyed all the children sitting in front of him, of the 8 children, 5 were seeing him with burning gaze while 2 didn't show any emotion on their face and sitting there quietly but their all attention were on him, The last person was Caesar himself who was just looking at Rebourn with a bored gaze. Well that what Rebourn had imagined, Caesar was a person for main line of the family and as such he was educated from a young age about everything like etiquette classes, noble history, economics, political play, and about awakened society too. But due to growing up in lonely environment Caesar mentality became little twisted, his mother and father were always out busy with their work, his father on zogar plain while his mother teaching inside Xander academy even his little sister had been with her mother due to her complicated health condition so Caesar barely saw his parents or his little sister twice or thrice in a year. This all ultimately led him to grow up in an environment devoid of love and care.
As a child Caesar started playing pranks on maids and other family members but this playing soon escalated and his nature became sadistic, he started having fun in other people suffering and pain and as young master of Rosehart there was little resistance he faced while committing all such acts.
Currently Rebourn was judging the 5 kid as those kids come from a branch family of Rosehart in outskirts and were no different from country bumpkins. Rebourn was keeping eye on all 7 kids who came for awakening ceremony from the branch family. Two kids named Selifer and Diyes came from well known branch of Rosehart and their parents or other family member have enough money and political influence to make them well known in society but the five children namely Vin, Calo, Setery, Fin, and Liam were from branch family whose influence or family connection were very merger to even mention them.
Rebourn continued with his explanation, "Let us first talk about awakening ceremony, In Rosehart family awakening ceremony takes twice a year where every child from age 12 or 13 will come to the main family mansion to participate in the ceremony. The ceremony itself is simple, you will just have to place your hand on an crystal orb and the orb will tell your talent. Every individual will have at least one talent in which he can at least excel in. People may have more than one talent. The highest highest record of Talent holder was 'Empress Daina Velery Sin Xeleot' from ancient Xeleot empire 1200 year ago with a total of 17 talents."
"The talent measuring orb is known as 'orb of zengis' which contain a little amount of power from the GOD OF ORDER himself. The orbs are made by Pope of temple of ORDER and then a sacrificial ritual takes place in which some material are sacrificed, in return the god bless the orbs made by Pope which in turn can be used to measure talent of a particular individual."
"The talent can be classified in two main types active and passive talents. Active talents are those which needed to be continuously trained in order to increase there proficiency whereas passive talent are those where the talent is in continuous effect. The criteria for advancement of passive talent is exceedingly hard."
"Moving forward we will now see the how are talent different from each other. The first one is combat based talent then comes support based talent, their are also intellectual talent and cultural, social and economic talent.
In combat you can first see aura users who uses mana to cover their body parts or their weapons to fight, like swordsman, spearman, archer, etc. The next one is magician or wizards, they uses elemental magic to perform spells. The third one is holy power used by priest, cardinal, bishops of church they can use holy power just like magic. The fourth is supernatural powers in which a person gains a skills or talent which is just specific and unique to himself but such people are found in minority even among awakener.
The support type talent is a little diverse field of talent as it consist of many talents. Blacksmithing, forge mastery, runemaking, formation making, alchemy, people who can use buffs and debuff, healers, potion making, crafting, etc.
The intellectual talent holders are usually are people who have close to zero fighting potential and are useless in battlefields but they have a strongest and smartest brain, there are usually scientists, researcher, battle tactician, strategist, diplomats, etc.
The last one is cultural ,social and economics talent. Here the person talent is solely used for economic purpose which up the standard of living of a society. Example are like a Farmers, botanist, doctor, engineer, singer, dancer and many more. This is just a summary, as the talent column is much more diversified and deep that it will take minimum of 5 hours to explain.
"Now lets us see about bloodline power. This is totally different power which is engraved in genes of humans, they do not depend upon magic core, aura or holy power to work, this power flows in blood of human and is vastly different than other power. For Rosehart,the bloodline power is light manipulation. Max Von Rosehart is the most recent person to unlock his bloodline power, during his awakening ceremony it was found out that he had talent in light manipulation moreover just after a year he unlocked his bloodline power. Now Max is hailed as one of the most talented youth on the continent. But know this unlocking bloodline power is most difficult task, the criteria for unlocking is nearly impossible and people with their bloodline power unlocked are in absolute minority in awakened society.
Hearing Rebourn talking about Max was like adding oil to burning fire, the gaze of children got so intense that it was like they will burn hole through Rebourn himself. But suddenly sound of scoff sounded and of course it was from Caesar, he didn't hate his big brother but he didn't like him either, It was said that he was even going to become next patriarch and he was treated with love and care by everyone in the whole main family which irked Caesar to no end.
Rebourn let out a awkward laugh and continued with a explanation he still didn't want to ruined Caesar's mood, its not like he was scared of Caesar of something but he want to avoid him because dealing with him is going to make him lose his hair too early, so it was best to just ignore him and go with his wimps.
Rebourn started explaining other small detail to kids and after time some time two old man could be seen entering the training ground. Seeing them the guards bend their back and bowed and said in loud voice, "Welcome lord patriarch and first elder."
Hearing the guards voice the children and Rebourn greeted the patriarch and first elder with a small bow. The only exception was Caesar who instead of greeting patriarch only greeted first elder.
"Welcome grandpa I have been waiting for you." Caesar said.
Patriarch and first elder are brothers. Jonathan and Dexter were brother and each others rivals. The two brother were always equal in everything they do and just like that after years of rivalry they were now fighting for the patriarch seat. It was really tough decision for rest of family member to decide between the two brothers, finally the previous patriarch who was on his last day of life had decided that Jonathan Von Rosehart will became the patriarch of Rosehart house and that all due to only one reason. Dexter was a warmhearted and passionate man while Jonathan was strict and little cold hearted and previous patriarch deemed Jonathan nature better to become patriarch of Rosehart family.
But even after all that the brother never developed any hard feeling between them and it was due to their upbringing and the ironclad rule of Rosehart
" FAMILY ABOVE ALL."
The ancestor of Rosehart had all made sure to teach all their generation to care for fellow family member. And generation after generation this idea has been firmly established as rule number one of the family.
Now the whole continent knows if you have to kill a Rosehart then you should be able to do two of the one things. First is to be able to kill and not get caught by the Rosehart and the second one is that you have the power or capability to fight the whole Rosehart family as one, Or else you are absolutely dead man.
Caesar didn't bowed to the patriarch or the first elder seeing this patriarch made a frown at the blatant disrespect Caesar had show but before he could reprimanded him Dexter spoke," If this isn't little Caesar, now don't be so excited we still have to conduct the awakening ceremony."
Caesar replied in a enthusiastic voice to Dexter "Yes, grandpa."
Dexter was Caesar's favorite family member because he was the only one to show love and care toward Caesar, Of course Dexter was too busy but he still take time out of his busy schedule and spends them with his grandchildren.
Jonathan spoke," Now lets not wasted any more time and conduct the awakening ceremony."
The seven kids all said simultaneously, "Yes, patriarch."
