CRASH!!
"Ah! What the …?"
From the sound of things, the crash wasn't too far from him. Although he did remain sceptical, after all the sound might have been a trap, still he wasn't afraid. As a result, he just checked in with those that had moved into the territory after awakening.
They all seemed to be fine but just in case he slowed down time 10x leaving him as the only one moving at normal speed.
Then he rushed to a crater that had formed in the town square. As Jay approached the crater, he noticed that there was a figure lying in the centre. He couldn't make out who it was due to the dust that had been kicked up by the impact.
Jay looked up to see a spaceship flying away and from the glimpse he caught of the ship, Jay could tell that it was massive, easily as large as a small city, with a sleek, metallic exterior that shone in the light of the setting sun. Its shape was almost organic, with smooth curves and flowing lines that seemed to suggest a living creature rather than a man-made machine.
The ship was also highly advanced, featuring a variety of complex systems and technologies. Jay could see a series of powerful thrusters lining the ship's underbelly, glowing brightly as they propelled the vessel into the sky. The ship also appeared to be armed with a variety of weapons, including powerful laser cannons and missile launchers.
Once he could no longer make out the spaceship, he looked back down at the crater to see a red-haired woman crawl out of it.
Pointing his spear at her he questioned her "Who are You?"
"*Cough* I am Eleanor, priestess of the Goddess of Fire," Eleanor responded while spluttering.
Eleanor was a young woman in her early twenties with fiery red hair that cascaded down her back in waves. She had piercing green eyes that seemed to glow with an inner fire and a strong, angular jawline that gave her a fierce, determined look.
Despite the crash landing and being covered in dirt and debris, Eleanor still managed to maintain an air of elegance and grace. She wore a long, flowing red robe that was embroidered with golden thread, and a gold tiara rested atop her head, adorned with rubies and diamonds.
Her hands were adorned with gold bracelets and rings, and she carried herself with an air of confidence and authority that suggested she was used to being in charge.
"So why are you here? Last time I checked entering a new world takes a large portion of your power." Jay wasn't satisfied and continued drilling her with questions.
"I need to recruit the grade A- talent [Mother of Fire] for our great Goddess" Patting down her clothes she responded matter-of-factly.
"... I see, well that won't be happening." After a long pause, he thrust his spear towards her.
Eleanor wasn't one to take an attack like this standing still, especially from what seemed to be an energyless level 0.
She retreated, noticing that a flame crept out of the tip of the spear and smiled. "Looks like I found you quickly. Well we can offer a range of benefits including catalysts to better use your talent."
However, she was angered by his actions so for good measure she punched his face hard making sure not to kill him though it did barely any damage as she attacked on the premise of a normal level 0.
Greed flashed in his eyes. He noticed that as she retreated she also conjured flames upon her feet to propel herself back faster. "Tell me what your talent is."
A red screen with intricate fire patterns appeared as he said this.
[Talent]
⤷ [Fire manipulation - B]
[Those with this talent possess an innate understanding of the nature of fire, allowing them to bend its flames to their will with ease. They can create, shape, and manipulate flames, ranging from small sparks to raging infernos. With their mastery over fire, they can utilize it for a variety of purposes, such as heating, lighting, and even defensive or offensive combat applications. This talent requires strong mental discipline, as manipulating fire can be dangerous and unpredictable. Energy consumption is reduced when using fire.]
Eleanor had predicted this and prepared to show only one of her talents.
"Why is your system red. Also if someone with a grade B talent can be sent to this backwwater place why do you need me." While he said this Jay understood she was hiding her talents since [Bloodline] wasn't shown. He also decided to hide his talents excluding [Mother of Fire] and his Chaos Human [Bloodline].
"Followers of our great goddess are blessed with her custom system. You also seem to be underestimating the rarity and power of anything at or above A- grade." She replied curtly still wary looking at the adamantine-tipped spear. "Now show me yours"
[Talent]
⤷ [Mother of Fire- A-]
[Those with this talent possess an innate understanding of the nature of fire, allowing them to bend its flames to their will with extreme ease. Furthermore, as the mother of fire, they can change its properties and even create it without superior energies. They can create, shape, and manipulate flames, ranging from small sparks to raging infernos. With their mastery over fire, they can utilize it for a variety of purposes, such as heating, lighting, and even defensive or offensive combat applications. Energy consumption is very low when using fire. Additionally, superior energies can be substituted with stamina.]
⤷ [Bloodline - B (Growth)]
[Lesser Chaos Humans are talented in the use of all energies regardless of their superiority.]
Eleanor's face showed a hint of surprise at his bloodline before composing herself. "See the difference, this is why we want to recruit you."
Noting her surprise he knew that she hadn't expected his bloodline even if he only showed a portion of it, Jay took up the spear and thrust it at her this time faster and with a much more violent fire.
"Ahh! F***! You are courting death, Ignitia is far stronger than you could ever imagine." She screamed as the fire hit her body which was usually inflammable but because of the oxygen-rich atmosphere, the fire started combusting the wooden barrels, planks and benches.
The result. She started being far more affected by the poison that was released. She had no choice but to activate a talent she had stolen from another world's player [Ice Manipulation (D-)].
Although doing this would expose to her Goddess that she had the assimilation talent since Cindris would be watching her for this trip. Perhaps by killing Jay and taking his talent and she would be valuable enough for the Goddess to forgive her transgression.
However, Jay was most confident in his intelligence which was far too high for a level 0 and even those at rank C-1 tend not to have so much. Even then since intelligence was based on the environment as well those who gained intelligence with the system could never compare to the mindset of a natural genius.
With every move Eleanor made Jay would quickly counter it since his stats were supplemented by the [Parasite] bloodline and [Vampiric] skill.
Jay watched as Eleanor activated a variety of skills and talents, her movements becoming more fluid and precise. He could tell that she was experienced in battle, and that made him all the more excited. He was itching for a good fight, and it looked like he was going to get one.
As Eleanor lunged forward, her ice spear aimed directly at Jay's chest, he quickly sidestepped, easily avoiding the attack. He retaliated with a quick swipe of his spear, the adamantine tip slicing through the air towards her. But she was too quick, deftly dodging his attack and countering with a powerful blast of fire which blinded him temporarily.
Jay's [Mother of Fire] talent allowed him to easily manipulate and control the flames that Eleanor had summoned, and he was able to use it to deflect and counter all of her attacks.
.
He quickly regained his sight and charged towards her, his spear once again aimed towards her chest. But Eleanor was ready for him, and she sidestepped his attack with ease. She swung her ice spear, aiming for his head, but Jay ducked just in time, the ice spear narrowly missing him.
The two continued their dance, each one trying to gain the upper hand. Jay was impressed with Eleanor's skill and experience, and he found himself enjoying the fight more and more as it went on. But he was confident in his abilities, and he knew that he could defeat her if he played his cards right.
As the fight wore on, both combatants began to tire. But neither was willing to give up, and they continued to press forward, their attacks growing more and more desperate. Finally, with a fierce roar, Jay charged forward, his spear aimed directly at Eleanor's chest.
But again she was ready for him. With a swift motion, she sidestepped his attack and swung her ice spear, aiming for his head. But Jay was faster. He pivoted on one foot, the motion allowing him to dodge her attack and spin around behind her. In one fluid motion, he brought his spear down on her back, the adamantine tip slicing through her flesh and bone.
"You're quite talented," Jay said, his voice laced with amusement. "But you're no match for me."
Eleanor glared at him, her eyes filled with anger and frustration. "You may have won this time, but you'll regret crossing Ignitia. Our goddess will make sure of it."
Jay just laughed. "I'm not afraid of your goddess or anyone else. I'll do what I want, when I want, and no one can stop me."
Eleanor let out a piercing scream, her body convulsing in pain. But even as she fell to the ground, she continued to fight, her ice spear flying towards Jay. He sidestepped the attack, easily dodging the ice spear, and brought his own spear down on her, ending the fight once and for all.
As he stood there, breathing heavily, Jay felt a sense of exhilaration. He had won the fight, and he had proven himself to be a worthy opponent. He looked down at Eleanor's body, still twitching on the ground, and he couldn't help but smile. It had been a good fight, and he knew that he would remember it for a long time to come.
"Haaaah" He sighed deeply after the battle and waited for the notification from the system.

"What?" A void appeared in the sky above Jay.
'Is this the Goddess of Fire?'
[Negative. This is an external universes invasion due to your rapid increase in strength]
'Damn it. Order all of the recruitment rights I just got to be built.' At the same time he activated all the talents at once in the most helpful way for the territory to survive without him physically being there.
Next, he went to the group chat.
[Abyss]
[Bye guys. you have to deal with the rest yourself. Come to my territory if you need, it is currently fully autonomous. - Jathhi Deity (God) (God of Fire)]
[What's that supposed to mean - Liam Vensire (Innovator)]
Jay ignored them, rushing out of the territory. It was obvious he wasn't going to win this time. The only option left was to not lose.
