His troops marched further into enemy territory, blades at the ready. As they advanced, they encountered resistance from small groups of enemy soldiers. Without hesitation, Liam signalled his troops to take cover, then sprinted toward the most concentrated area with plenty of prey. With a swift leap, he landed behind the enemy line and began slaying the beasts, taking out one after another.
Seeing Liam's bold move, his troops followed suit. They charged forward, engaging the enemy in close combat. Liam fought alongside his men, taking down enemies left and right with impressive precision. Despite the chaos of battle, Liam's troops moved with ease, quickly clearing the territory of enemy forces.
Among these troops, one soldier, in particular, stood tall. He was an Intermediate Soldier, with years of combat experience under his belt. Frey was not completely human, but he resembled a Swedish male. At 33 years old, he stood at an imposing 187 cm and weighed a solid 83 kg. But what set Frey apart from the others was his growth capabilities. He was always looking to improve himself, both physically and mentally, and he had a natural talent for learning new skills. Frey was a true asset to the team.
As they embarked on their mission, Frey wanted to be sure that he was ready for anything that might come their way. He knew that the stakes were high, and that the success of the mission could mean the difference between a mediocre and a prosperous future.
With a deep breath, Frey took his place among his fellow soldiers. He knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but he was ready for the challenge. As they rushed through the beasts surrounding them, Frey couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He was doing what he was born to do, and he was damn good at it.
Frey had always been skilled with a sword. His movements were swift and precise, and he knew how to make the most of his weapon. As an Intermediate Soldier, his sword fighting style was a mix of traditional techniques and his own innovations. He was always looking for ways to improve his skills and was never satisfied with his current level of ability. His growth capabilities allowed him to learn new techniques, and he was always eager to take on new challenges.
Liam drew his iron sword and charged forward, leading his troops into the heart of enemy territory. The sound of clashing metal echoed through the air as Liam's soldiers engaged in fierce combat with the giant animals that roamed the land - wolves with sharp fangs, vampiric melons that drained their victims' life force, massive deer with antlers that could pierce through armour, boars with razor-sharp tusks, and serpents with deadly venom. Liam's sword glinted in the sunlight as he deftly parried the attacks of a snarling wolf, then spun around to deliver a swift, deadly strike. Meanwhile, his soldiers battled valiantly with their iron swords and wooden spears, their faces set in fierce determination as they fought to clear the territory of the enemy threat.
As the last of the enemy fell, Liam signalled for his troops to gather. With a sense of pride and accomplishment, he congratulated them on a job well done. It was a hard-fought victory, but Liam knew that with the courage and skill of his troops, they could overcome any obstacle that lay ahead.
Liam greeted Frey.
Frey's skin carries a hint of grey making him out to be a non-human just like the other personnel. Liam wondered where they were coming from but pushed such thoughts to the back of his mind while talking to Frey. With this battle, Frey had become an advanced soldier a rare feat it seemed as none other than Frey had a growth ability.
**********************************
In the time it took for Jay to reach the mountain, create his territory and save his new children, Liam had definitely not been slacking off.
Along with his troops, he made quick work of the beasts that inhabited his territory
After several successful campaigns, Liam cleared the territory controlled by the giant animals that had once posed a threat to his people. With each victory, his territory expanded. However, as time went on, Liam realised that the enemies he faced were becoming weaker and fewer in number.
He began to seek out more challenging foes, the experience from these foes could not sustain his growth. As Liam pondered his next move, he realized that he had become too reliant on brute force. He knew that if he wanted to continue to grow and thrive, he needed to develop new strategies and tactics.
It wasn't an easy path, and there were many obstacles to overcome, but Liam persisted.
He shared knowledge and through his efforts, Liam not only extended his territory's overall strength but also built the foundations of a thriving society. His people prospered not just because they were strong but also because they were able to work together with others. And though the challenges they faced were great, they were able to overcome them by using their heads as well as their swords.

At this point, Beyond Divinity had reached a size rivalling nations from Earth.
Since it was still technically day 0 he couldn't summon any personnel from the Spatial Portal but the World tree caught his eye. Such a thing was common in fantasy, the origin of the world, mother of elves, and all sorts of powerful titles that came with the world tree, meaning he just stumbled upon a powerful advantage.
Since he was so far from Jay, the enemies he killed were different but ended up giving him the same bloodlines under the effects of [Assimilation].
As he accumulated experience points and increased his strength steadily, Liam felt his strength rise, and he knew that he couldn't hold back the urge to spam that level-up button anymore. With a deep breath, he made the decision to stop hoarding his hard-earned EXP, realising that it was time to put his abilities to the test on the journey to the World Tree.
As he looked down at his hands, he saw a series of system messages appear before his eyes, detailing the various new abilities and upgrades he had acquired. And with a renewed sense of determination, he set off towards the World Tree, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

The effectiveness of this skill will depend on the user's proficiency level, as well as their physical condition and stamina. Users with low proficiency levels may struggle to use Blink effectively or may tire quickly, while those with higher proficiency levels may be able to move with lightning speed and perform complex manoeuvres]

⤷ [Yet to Integrate]
[Abilities]
⤷ [Blink]
This ability allows users to manipulate space in a short range to move themselves to another location instantaneously. This ability uses superior energy to achieve this effect and requires the expenditure of either 1 Mana per 1 meter or 1 Ether per 10 meters of movement (Ether being better suited to spacial manipulation) with every activation. Unlike the [Blink (D+)] skill which relies on physical strength and agility, this ability uses the user's mastery of energy manipulation to achieve near-instantaneous movement. The effectiveness of this ability will depend on the user's available Mana or Ether reserves. Using Blink too frequently or without sufficient energy reserves can quickly deplete a user's resources and leave them vulnerable. Proficiency is not calculated by the system for abilities.]

With his physical prowess and high levels of superior energy, his power increased significantly. Abilities like blink could be used to travel great distances if he spammed blink enough times.
Luckily for him, The World Tree was only 7,000m from him meaning if he encountered any danger he would have enough energy to make a swift getaway.
As Liam made his way through the dense forest, he couldn't help but marvel at the natural beauty that surrounded him. The vibrant colours of the leaves, the fragrant scent of the flowers, and the peaceful sounds of the chirping birds all added to the serene atmosphere.
Upon finally arriving at his destination, Liam scanned his surroundings, his eyes searching for any sign of the legendary World Tree. And then, he saw it - a faint crack in the fabric of space. But through that small opening, he could just make out the gnarled bark of the ancient tree. Liam felt a surge of excitement course through him; he knew that he had finally found what he was looking for.
After verifying that the system deemed the entry to be safe, Liam rushed towards the crack, eager to see the World Tree up close. As he emerged on the other side, Liam was left speechless. The sheer size of the tree was simply awe-inspiring; it was easily the tallest structure he had ever laid eyes on. The sky above was a brilliant blue, and the leaves of the tree rustled softly in the gentle breeze.
At that moment, it was just Liam and the World Tree, alone in the vast expanse of nature. There were no signs of other life nearby, and the quiet tranquillity was almost overwhelming. Liam couldn't help but feel humbled in the presence of such an ancient and powerful entity.
