He had forgotten all about Clara's apparition inside his house when he returned in the afternoon to have his meal. He was making mashed potatoes when he felt that something cold had crossed through him. A chill ran through his spine and it terrified him to the utmost. He then cooked some bacons. Well, actually he was feeling like it was not the food, but something or someone was choking his throat. He jumped off his the dinning table and the morsel got out of his mouth. His eyes were filled with tear for his throat was choked which blured his vision and with his blurry vision could see that Clara was standing before him. She stood there for few seconds. When he stood up properly and waved towards her, her head fell from her body and rolled near his feet. Being startled when he jumped a few steps back, he could see that Clara's eyes from the cut head on the floor were staring blankly at him. He grabbed a water filled glass and threw it at the head in response to the sheer terror he was experiencing right now. The glass smashed into pieces when it hit the ground and as if breaking a spell or hypnosis session, magically, the head and Clara both were gone.
