He roved his car towards the forest outside the town. While inside the car he wanted to call Clara and patch up with her. She had called her a dozen times. He felt an obligation to call Clara - for she was his wife. Then there was a small voice on his mind that told him not to do so. She also had an obligation towards him which she did not fullfill and would not ever fulfill. He left his ringing phone inside his car and went inside the forest. It was day time, but inside the forest it was very cool. The sweet fragrance of wild flowers and berries relaxed him. The birds' chirping welcomed him as if welcoming a long lost friend. He sat under a pine tree and got a chocolate bar from his pocket and started munching it.
While muling over what to do next he heard some footsteps coming from his behind. He turned back. A full grown snow white wolf stood behind him and was growling. The wolf had human eyes, small and beautiful and blue. He did not know what to do. Running would not save him. Instinctively he handed the chocolate bar towards the wolf. The wolf grinned and grabbed it by the mouth and munched it. After finishing the chocolate it looked at Lupin and made a slow circle around him meanwhile smelling him sometimes. Lupin was not afraid. If he would die, so be it. He accepted his fate. But perhaps the wolf had a different plan. It came in front of him and howled once and waited for sometime. Then as if dissatisfied walked slowly away from him. Lupin noticed it was a shewolf. Perhaps not even a shewolf wanted to eat me, am I so despicable to ladies?
But the starkly fascinating fact about the she wolf was that her eyes were extremely attractive. Lupin knew that he would not forget those eyes.
