It's been 4 days since that incident. Liffi had forgotten about Black, her work was piling up, there was no time to think about anything else. Today, big meeting waiting up with WIN.Co. This giant company would build the largest one stop living concept mall in the central city. The tender value was extraordinary. If the company where Liffi works could win the tender, it was certain that the name of HANS construction will skyrocket.
All employees worked harder than usual. Everyone was tired and so did Liffi. Her smart brain and hard work have made many drafters rely on Liffi. Really, her internship wages were not suited for the fatigue all over her body.
"What? Nami is sick? How is it? Who will help Mr. Ken and Mr. Hans to presentation the drafts?" They all whispered to each other. Their main architect, Nami was sick, she got a fever, and the tender meeting will start soon.
"Liffi, you drew almost all of Nami's designs right?! You can help us!!" shouted a senior drafter, his face was pale in panic.
Liffi glared in surprise, how could something this big be given to an intern? Who even only passed one year of college. What if the tender failed because of her?
Liffi swallowed because of fear.
"Sorry, Sis. I'm just an intern and I can't do it," Liffi said softly.
"Please, Liffi, help us. You are the only hope of this company," Wilona --Mr. Hans's secretary-- helped to persuade Liffi.
Finally Liffi had no choice but to help them. Even though she was afraid, Liffi agreed. Liffi cursed herself inwardly. Why was she so weak to such persuasion?
Liffi sighed several times before entering the WIN company building. Her hands were cold-sweating, her heart seemed to be jumping out of her chest. Liffi trailed behind Mr. Ken and Mr. Hans, her boss, along with several other young interior designers and architects.
The atmosphere felt so quiet and tense. Everyone was busy preparing working drawings and concepts in 3D, and Liffi was no exception. Wilona put the drawing sheets and tender fees calculation on every desk of available seats in the meeting room.
Some people in black suit entered the meeting room, sitting in a U shape according to the shape of the meeting table. The middle seat was still empty, the WIN group president has not been arrived yet. Though, usually he was always on time.
"He's not here yet?" Mr. Ken was a little worried and whispered to Mr. Hans.
"Is he looking down on us since we're just a small company?" Mr. Hans was a little disappointed.
But their worries stopped when a man walked inside. His face was very handsome, his body was tall. His hair was black as charcoal. His blue eyes sparkled like pearls. Followed by his secretary, the man sat quietly in his chair.
Liffi was freeze. Who was that man? His face was very similar to Black, only his hair was different, black and bold. Curious, Liffi continued to observe the man, until finally their eyes met.
[Oh, my God ...! He saw me. I'm so shy.] Liffi looked away, avoiding the man's gaze.
"Shall we start the meeting? I don't like wasting my time," he said briefly, but it created such a heavy atmosphere in the entire room.
"O ... Ok."
All rushed to start the meeting. Mr. Ken and Mr. Hans, explained the working drawings and designs they had made. But that man didn't care about the presentation at all. His eyes were only on Liffi, watching Liffi from the tips of her hair to her toes.
Liffi shuddered. She felt goosebumps on her back from the sharp gaze of the WIN group president. Liffi tried to look natural, she hid her awkwardness as best as she could.
[His gaze looks like he wants to strip me, ] Liffi thought irritably.
Liffi stepped back slightly, hidding behind her senior. Avoiding the man's gaze and curiosity.
"I think the meeting is enough." The man stood and buttoned his suit.
"But Mr. West, we haven't even finished the presentation yet," protested Mr. Kim.
"Poor design, poor presentation, and too long development planning." The man glanced sharply at Mr. Hans. His glance made Mr. Hans feel discouraged.
"I gave you a chance because you're my father's friend. But the results were very disappointing." He said.
"But ...." Mr Hans could not reply.
Liffi held her trembling body, why was there such a cruel man? Even though their design may not be as good as other companies, they have prepared it seriously. They had to work overtime and were willing to skip their lunch time. It's too cruel to just cut their persentation off.
The man walked away anyway, leaving the meeting room. Before he step to the open door, he briefly glanced at Liffi. Giving a look that stunned Liffi, carrying her away in his charm.
