Chereads / THE TWINS' PET / Chapter 9 - Hunting

Chapter 9 - Hunting

On the other side of the city.

Sadewa got out of his car, he saw a small building in front of him. The building looked old and shabby. The wall color was red brick and starting to crack. Sadewa looked at it in pity. Was it true that Liffi lives here? The girl lived in a shabby place that was more like a chicken coop.

Sadewa leaned against his car, Liffi was not in her apartment. Sadewa couldn't feel Liffi's scent there. It was useless to try to get here as soon as possible after office hours had ended.

[ I miss her. Why? ] Sadewa saw his hands shaking because he missed Liffi too much.

Sadewa sighed in annoyance. His feelings were out of control, and he couldn't stop them. The strange feeling continued to rustle in his heart. He missed Liffi, a human.

"She's coming." Sadewa moved from his place, he could smell Liffi's scent. The sweet and warm scent and the wind made the aroma tickle Sadewa's nose.

Sure enough, Liffi appeared at the end of the road, carrying her worn bag. Occasionally stretching her arms forward to release her fatigue.

"Mr. Sadewa?" Liffi stared surprisingly at the man standing in front of her. Her mind was filled with curiosity, why would the rich young master who owned a large company be in front of her house?

"Um ...." Sadewa was confused about how to greet Liffi.

Should he shake hands? Hugging? Or kiss the girl right away?

"Sir?" Liffi approached him.

Sadewa was stunned, the girl's face looked very close. Sadewa had never been in contact with any girl before. He preferred work, practice, and study. Now he had no experience in dealing with a woman.

"Ee, what's your name? Liffi ... right?" Sadewa tried to open the conversation, but his tone was still clumsy.

"That's right. What are you doing here, Sir?" Liffi looked around, it was quiet and there were no people.

Sadewa wanted to say that he came here because he missed Liffi. But Sadewa was afraid that Liffi will be shocked and avoided him.

"E ... I'm just waiting for my pick-up. My car tires deflated." Sadewa made excuse, a very classic one.

Sadewa had pulled out his nails and sticked them to his car tires slowly when Liffi arrived earlier.

"I see." Liffi nodded in understanding.

"Yes, I see," replied Sadewa. His eyes were still focused on Liffi, looking at her cute face.

"I'm going inside first, sir," Liffi said goodbye.

"Wait!!" Sadewa called Liffi when the girl was about to enter her flat.

"Yes, Sir?" Liffi turned her head.

"Can I borrow your restroom? I can't hold anymore."

[ Seriously, Sadewa ??!! What reason is that ?? !! Really not classy. ] Sadewa cursed himself.

Liffi thought for a moment, but finally allowed Sadewa to follow her in.

"Sorry, it's a bit messy, sir." Liffi opened the door to her room.

Sadewa came in, looked around, and saw every part of the small flat room. How could a human life in a place like this? Although clean and neat this room was too small. Not even bigger than his bathroom.

"Sir ?? Why do you stop?" Liffi saw Sadewa just stood still.

"Ah, yes. Sorry." Sadewa went into Liffi's toilet.

Liffi tidied up her bag and college books. One more month the holiday would end. Liffi had to reread all the lessons and try to find a new job. Working in a company will take up a lot of her time. Liffi won't miss her lecture time.

Liffi took off her jacket and curled her black hair up.

Sadewa had finished in the restroom. When came out, He swallowed several times. Her scent made Sadewa lose his mind again, pumping adrenaline into every vein of his body.

"Had done, Sir?"

"Yes, thank you."

"You're welcome." Liffi smiled sweetly. Sadewa's face flushed in red seeing Liffi's smile.

Sadewa quickly got out of the building. Her scent was too dangerous. Sadewa nearly got out of control and attacked Liffi.

"Help!!" A policeman screamed.

He and his colleagues just received reports from residents that a wild animal was preying on their livestock. Residents said the animal always ran to the forest after hunting. The authorities sent two policemen to investigate.

However, it was not a wild animal that they encountered there, but a wolf in human form. Its fur was bold black, its eyes were also brightly lit. Its fangs drooled a thick saliva. Neither a human nor a wolf, his form was not yet perfect. He was neither human nor a true werewolf.

The hair on their necks shuddered, their legs shook violently. They took a few steps back. Seeing a strange animal standing like a human made them feel discouraged. They could neither guess nor understand what animal was standing in front of them.

"Don't move !!! We are armed!" shouted one of them. The gun was pointed directly in front of the werewolf.

The werewolf was silent, its sharp claws embedded in its prey. A lamb had been split in two, its guts were scattering out. With a little greed he ate the belly of the lamb.

The two of them looked at each other, looking for the right timing to escape. But as fast as lightning, the black creature grabbed one of them. Biting his neck and tearing his body. The officer's head was cut off in one bite.

BANG BANG BANG!!

Three shots were heard to knock out the demon. The hot lead whistled quickly, lodged in his body, but in an instant the bullet came out, the wound closed again. The bullet didn't work, it couldn't hurt the creature.

"GROOOWWWR!!!" The werewolf raged. He ran unexpectedly.

"Please help!!!" The policeman screamed, ran, and his pace accelerated to avoid the wild wolf. He wanted to run away from the forest.

Too late, a strong, large, hairy hand with sharp nails pierced deep into the officer's stomach. His guts scattered. Not satisfied, the werewolf tore the man's body apart.

"Aaaauuuuuu!!!!" A howl was heard, startling the werewolf. With lightning fast, he ran deeper into the stretch of trees. Enter further into the darthe darkness of the forest.

The Police surrounded the forest, and set police lines along the scene. Several policemen vomited when they saw that their coworker's body had been torn apart. The body emitted a foul smell, yet it had just been one night after they were torn apart by the murderer.

"From the wound, it looks like a beast!" exclaimed the autopsy doctor.

"But what kind of beast is this big? There are no lions in here." A policeman zipped a body bag.

"Let's check it out at the hospital, Officer," said the doctor.

"Okay, hey let's get the body in the ambulance." The local police chief ordered his subordinates.

A motorcade of police cars and ambulances left the forest. They went back without getting any answers to what had happened that night.

Behind the tree, Black silently watched the humans walk away. Red thick blood dripped down the tips of his sharp nails. His breathing was a bit fast and irregular. He's been here all night, hunting ...
