To Rashuel's greatest surprise, the city bitch was pointing her gun right in front of him.
As if Roselle had gone through a sudden tremendous transformation when she had run in and kicked the man gagging Doctor James, she felt a new anger brew in her heart. The man she held responsible for the pain and mystery in her life was looking at her with cold eyes that she felt to release the trigger on him.
Rashuel lips curved in a smile and he said, "I didn't know I was going to meet you so soon. The city bitch." He laughed, his laughing making Roselle's hand quiver and the horror of all he had done to her clouded her eyes.
She fought again to put back the tears, she got choked on saliva and coughed violently.
"I thought you're a strong woman, what is wrong with you? You seem suddenly blown away with fear." Rashuel said and laugh.
Between gritted teeth, Roselle winced. She attempted to say something but her voice failed her.
Doctor James still on the floor fixed a stare on her gun.
