With a bitter smirk on his lips, he gripped the watch hard before saying outloud, a lethal tone to his voice.
"Thanks for the surprise tonight Stepmother, though It would have been better If you had informed me before hand," With that he glared at Stella who was still frozen in shock standing there and staring at him like she had seen a ghost. "I'll make sure to repay the favor when we meet next time."
Ariana was in disbelief. "A- Are you threatening me?"
"Threatening you?" He scrunched up his face like he thought nothing wrong of what he had just said. "I'm merely stating facts."
With that, he threw the watch aside and didn't even let Ariana say a word and only gave her the privilege of listening to Stella scream as he tore a hole through her forehead with her own gun.
All the hairs at the back of her neck stood, and she felt a sick feeling run down her stomach when Stella's screams subsided after the gun shot.
Her stomach folded- the silence was so choking that even she couldn't bear to listen to it for much longer and threw her phone on the wall in rage, watching as It smashed to pieces before shattering on the ground.
Her chest heaved as she had many things running through her mind. Where had he hidden his family, how did he have even a single Idea that she would come for him. She had heard the gun being fired first- and she sure Stella had done her job so how she he still alive.
Ariana brushed a shaky hand through her hair and tried to stay calm. She was the only one at the Platinum corporation and was yet to go back home from work, so the place was quiet and her shagged breaths of rage and fear echoed down the halls of the building.
He really turned out to be just more than 'All talk'. He must have truly being watching her all these years waiting to strike when he had his chance.
But he underestimated her. One thing Ariana knew was that If she couldn't use money to get what she wanted, then she could just do It by herself.
He could beat and outsmart anyone, but not her. His first mistake would be underestimating her.
With that in mine, she grabbed her blazer off the back of her chair and swung It over one arm before proceeding out of the office and locking It.
By the time she got out, her driver was waiting outside as usual and gave a slight bow before throwing the door open for her.
Her face as cold as ice, she got into the car and he shut the door after her, quickly rushing to his seat. He had worked with Mrs Torres long enough to know when she was angry and what she was capable of when she was angry.

Sitting there, bathed in blood, with his back to the wall beside his bed, he pulled out his phone and made a call.
Lying not too far from him was the the decapitated body of Stella and he acted like he was the only one there and he didn't have blood on his fingers as he dialled a number.
It rang for a while and soon after there was a brief conversation between him and someone before he finally went downstairs to open the door five minutes later.
"You have to be fucking kidding me." The guy at the door had thick black hair pulled back into a pony tail and he had charcoal black eyes which roamed over his friend in shock and horror.
"It's not my blood." Steven stated as he shut the door after him, but the guy just kept staring at him like he had just walked out of a horror movie.
"And how does that make It any better."
Steve sighed. He had a massive headache and his chest hurt from using the same blade of knife he used in decapitating the girl to wring out the bullet out of his chest surgically.
"Look, the girl is upstairs and I really need your help right now. Don't act surprised. You knew this would happen and you promised Noah."
Noah threw his hands up in a 'give up' stance before closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath before exhaling out.
"Okay fine."
With that, Steven sat down on a tall stool in the living room and Noah got to work immediately. He and Steven met during the online classes. He was already years ahead of Steven because he was in the medical field, so they had both graduated the same year and earned their honors degree together.
Now, Noah was an apprentice doctor in a medical teaching hospital and well, he knew Steven for more than three years not to be completely traumatized by what Steven told him as he treated him with the equipments from his first aid box.
In a few minutes, the floor was littered with cotton balls soaked in blood, but Steven had a bandage around his forehead now and a larger one around his chest. He sat there bare chested, sore and angry as he thought about how Ariana really had the nerves to try and end his family the moment she had the chance.
"Well, have you called Amanda and your mom? You know you can't be too... "
Steven cut him off. "Of course I did. Either way, It was unnecessary in the first place because I made sure they would be some place no one could find them."
"I'm just glad they don't know what's going on. How long are they going to be staying there."
"Like a week." With that, Steven got up just as Noah pulled a bag from the first aid box.
"A week? Where did you get the money to rent them a motel for a week."
Steven shot him a glare and Noah zipped up immediately knowing the kind of person Steven was. He may be what might seem his only friend, but there were sometimes he was sensible enough not to push past the limits of friendship.
"Anyways, why did you ask me to bring a bag?" Noah asked again as he followed Steven up the stairs.
"I'm not putting her dead body in the trunk of my car like that. And don't worry, I already decapitated her head from her body so she'll easily fit in the bag."
Noah's face grew pale.
"I think I'm going to be sick."
