They all watched through the multiple small portals Wolfe had made, using various detection spells, as the human armies searched for Ciel survivors and came up empty.
They were beginning to panic when they found the first few bunkers that had been firebombed.
They had deliberately left these spots so that there would be a population of Ciel to harvest, but now they were all gone. None of the soldiers could understand what had happened. They had no records of anyone attacking most of these locations.
The ones that had collapsed were unfortunate, but some destruction was inevitable.
"It looks like your people put up a pretty good fight." Priya noted as she looked at the destroyed buildings.
