Chapter 45- Fanatic Hordes (Part 2)
The head belonged to a human, particularly one of the prisoners that Akio came to this place along with. However, none of the man's features were left fully intact.
First of all, the eyes inside their sockets were gouged out violently. Blood trickled down from the empty cavities and drenched the skin in it.
Then, there was the mouth which was wide open. The reason for that is the broken jaw of the skull that was most likely manually broken just to keep it agape like that. Inside the mouth, all the teeth were pulled out forcefully.
As for the nose and ears, they were left intact weirdly enough.
'So the creature that he was butchering turned out to be one of the prisoners.' Looking down, Akio calmed his breathing which got erratic for a second. There was no point in panicking now when he already predicted that this is what he will see.
