Chapter 42- A Woman In Silver (Part 2)
The woman stared, wide-eyed at Akio as if he was some kind of rare species. Her grip instinctively lessened too, leaving a small room for the young man to breathe.
"Hah… Hah!!" Gasping in between his clenched teeth, he asked.
"Let… go!" Extending his arms, he tried to grab her hands to try and release himself. However, before he could even touch her, she completely let go of his neck.
Dropping to the ground, Akio held his neck as he rubbed it gently. For a second, he felt as if he was about to die. He felt it clearly, the strength of her arms, the way she lifted him up as if he was a piece of paper, and how relaxed the muscles of her arms were. If that woman wanted Akio dead, all she needed was an extra squeeze and his neck would snap in half.
"Who are you, kid?" She asked the same question for the third time. At this point, it was safe to say that this woman was weirdly taking an interest in Akio.
