Lucifer's footstep were heavy but they were very fast. He was using his entire
speed to flee. Lucifer's speed was the astonishingly fast and even shocking for a person his level. However, what alarmed Lucifer was those individuals chasing from behind him. They gave him a vague sense of pressure.
Moreover, were there still others even he couldn't sense? There definitely were. This was what his intuition told him.
"Just a few more distance."
Just as Lucifer thought about this, the hair behind his neck rose in alarm as an intense feeling of danger assaulted him.
Lucifer immediately turned back, placing the machete before him.
"Suuu!"
A large bullet whistled, tearing apart the air loudly towards Lucifer with intense speed.
"Bang!" The bullet immediately slammed into his machete, shattering it into pieces!
The front of the bullet collided heavily with the machete, quickly slowing down its speed. Then, the bullet began to undergo an intense transformation. A normal bullet would have likely split open here without accomplishing its goal, but this bullet's momentum was too great, far surpassing that of an ordinary one.
Even though the bullet began to emit fiery red light under the powerful, high speed friction, to the point where it almost became molten iron, it still ultimately broke through the machete.
It turned into a propulsion of fiery metal and screamed towards Lucifer's chest! Even though the speed of this propulsion had been greatly decreased, its power and heat was still harmful.
The power of this gun was far greater than that of an ordinary sniper rifle. If that shot had hit its target, it was entirely likely that the larger half of Lucifer's chest would have been blasted flying.
Veins popped out from Lucifer's skin as the muscles in his thighs bulged out with multiple finger-sized veins coiled around his legs like steel wires! Using the opportunity created by the machete, Lucifer erupted with his one level of evolution and {Light Feet} he utilized gbe momentum, leaping backward swiftly to avoid the bullet.
Lucifer broke out in cold sweat! The trajectory of that bullet was aimed straight at his head. If not that he had sensed danger from behind him, he would have died.
The iron debris causing sparks on his skin as they collided with his body.
One of the men with the eagle insignia had actually caught after him so fast, immediately firing his weapon at Lucifer.
The force from the bullet propelled Lucifer forwards as he erupted with even more speed.
The man was slightly surprised at Lucifer's reaction speed but then licked his lips with a smack. It would be too boring if the opponent died too quickly. He wanted to have fun during this expenditure.
He instantly erupted with his three level of Physique and shot after Lucifer like a spectre. Although the tunnel was pitch black, he could see perfectly as though it was day. This time, he strapped his large revolver by his waist. Not planning to use it against Lucifer. From the attack he has made earlier, he had determined that Lucifer had a single level in combat origin. A super soldier with speed almost equal to his and also ability to see through the darkness along with an insane reaction speed?
Klein was curious about this prey. He didn't wait for the six others to catch up and shot after Lucifer speedily.
Lucifer's expression was solemn. This was not the first time he was in a life and death situation but this was different. He wasn't fighting some creature but a man like himself. He was thinking they probably wanted to capture him but the man's action proved him wrong, they wanted him dead.
His eyes turned cold as a malicious intent started building up within them. He had suffered this long and hard to survive in this world, he would never resign himself to death here!
Power filled Lucifer's mind as his thoughts moved rapidly. Spotting the entrance of the cave a thought flashed in his mind.

Klein spotted Lucifer's shadow from afar and could also see a ray of light ahead, they were nearing the entrance of the tunnel. A wicked grin appeared in his face as he chased like a true predator.
The afternoon sun cascaded down on his face, making him squint his eyes to adjust to the sun rays. Suddenly, his face dropped as he spotted a muzzle pointed directly at his chest.
Klein's eyes widened in shock and he roared. He Immediately erupted with three levels of combat origin moving his hand to guide his chest while adjusting his body.
"BANG!"
Klein's body shot backwards like a ragdoll, slamming into the cave wall as he fell to the ground, grievously injured. Both of his arm was a mangled mess with a large sized bullet hole in his chest.
Kleimn was filled with rage and fury! He didn't expect Lucifer to take the chance when his eyes was adjusting to the sunlight to attack him! Just like that, an Evolver had been grievously injured due to a moment of carelessness.
Lucifer's face was calm and his actions were extremely quick.
He removed the large revolver by the man's waist, as well as the small knife by the man's waist.
"Chi!" The man's eyes opened wide as Lucifer stabbed the blade straight into his brain.
Suddenly, Lucifer's ears twitched and he immediately turned to flee. He didn't dare use the same tactics as before as the sound of his gunshot would have alerted them.
Paraventure he was able to kill one more person would the other five remain still and let him shoot them down one by one?
A few seconds after Lucifer entered the forest, five people immediately walked out from the tunnel. But were stunned seeing the corpse of one of their comrade lying in a pool of blood.
"Klein died?" Immediately fury and anger filled their eyes.
"How dare he kill poeple from Eagle's gang? Rein! Quickly! Shoot that motherfvcker down, don't let him escape!" One of them roared angrily and in the next second, the man called Rein took out a sniper rifle that was as long as an adult male and got to a half kneeling postiton.
